Chapter 24 - I Love You Too, Always and Forever

        I put the table just for me. Vampires could eat 'normal’ food, but it wasn’t the best things they could eat, it wasn’t what they appreciated the most.

Jane was doing a specialty that she used to do at her restaurant / bar in London.

        “But you can say whatever it is!”

         “The recipes are secret, I won’t say a thing.”

        “You may not tell me how to do it, I just want to know the ingredients...

        “No!” She smiled. “I cannot and I will not.”

        Someone knocked on the door. “Can you go there?” Joanne asked.

        “But you're closer...” I said.

        “You better get there, now.”

       I left the place where I was and I went to the door. I was so distracted, I opened it without asking who was. Once I opened the door I ran into my boyfriend.

        “I heard you were having a party here and they invited me.”

        “Don’t be like that. And by the way, you are listening many things...” I smiled and held out my arms to hug him, he kissed me.

        “Don’t start with those gross things here beside me.” Joanne said.

         “Oh, we're in front of you.” I replied.

We sat on the couch and I waited for my food.

        “What did you want to talk to me?”

      “There is nothing more... There is a new geology professor who believes in vampires and all those beings. He seems to know that I know something...”

        “Are you sure?”

        “Absolute sure. When he called me to talk to him in private...

        Klaus interrupted me “He called you to talk to you alone?”

        I told him the story from the beginning to make him understand better.

        Then Jane called me to go to dinner. I sat on the table and they sat with me while Klaus also went to the refrigerator to get some blood bags.

        “We have to be careful with that teacher.” Joanne concluded. “We can’t be surprised.”

        “How's that for a surprise?”

        “Imagine that he is a hunter of supernatural beings.”

        “He may be, but he doesn’t pick me up, for sure.” Klaus said.

We could hear the rain falling heavily outside. The storm was pretty intense. I felt a pang, as if they had scared me.

        Then a pain in the neck. “Own!” I exclaimed. My friends’ eyes dropped on me just like my boyfriend’s eyes.

I walked away from the table, grabbing my neck, I screamed, looked like they had kicked me on the stomach, I knelt on the floor and Klaus grabbed me.

        “What is happening?”

        I saw everyone's eyes becoming red due to the small trickle of blood that now I was running from my neck. A bloodstain was also formed in my sweater.
