Lorenzo.

I mopped the floors and cleaned the booths before I had to lock up. It was the end of my shift and I wanted to go home. Lorraine didn't come by like I had expected, but its whatever...

I turned off all of the lights, and grabbed the keys and my jacket before I left. I locked the double doors and walked to my car with my hands shoved into my pockets. I was still upset about what happened yesterday, I wished it had never happened.

I stopped once I saw Lorraine standing foot at my car. "What are you doing here?" I asked rudely, stepping to her.

"I came to talk you." She said stepping to me. "There's nothing to talk about."

"You can't run away from your problems."

"That's not my problem." I said pushing past her and continued walking to my car. "Lorenzo please..." She pleaded.

No matter how bad I wanted to leave her there, I couldn't. I faced her with my arms crossed, waiting for her to explain. "I'm waiting." I said after a few minutes of silence.

"I'm sorry," she began. "I really like you, and I didn't want you to know that I had a boyfriend." She said looking at her feet.

"Why not?"

"I didn't think that you would like me." She said fiddling with her fingers. "You don't think much, do you?" I asked.

She looked at me, her pretty green eyes reflecting in the moon light. They didn't look as bright, they looked sad. "What are you upset about?"

"I'm not upset." She didn't look le in the eye, she looked away as if something else caught her attention. "Your lying."

"How do you know?" She asked crossing her arms. "Your eyes are usually a bright green, now they're just a dark color."

"That doesn't mean I'm upset."

"Could you stop denying your feelings?"

"Could you stop denying yours? " She said mocking me. "This isn't about me, either."

"I'm sorry." She mumbled. "I forgive you." I grinned.

"Are you sure?" I hugged her, just to prove it. "I love holding you." I randomly said, and to he honest, it felt slightly embarrassing. She giggled, making my cheeks hot. "I love being next to you." She replied.

"Why?" I said pulling away, but keeping my hands on her waist. "I don't know, I just do." I smiled, something I don't do often. I looked at her lips, that were also turning black. "Do you smoke weed?" I said referring to her lips.

"Sometimes, why?" She said looking into my eyes. "Your lips are turning black too."

"I know." She said licking them.

"How are you feeling?" She asked staring deep into my eyes, she always did that when I would confess my emotions. "Everytime I see you, you always want to know how I am feeling, why?"

"Because I care about you. Now how are you you feeling?"

"I don't know," I said shrugging my shoulders, "I have never been the type to express my feelings."

"What are you, a torpe?"

"I never said I was in love with anybody." I chuckled. "Are you in love with somebody?"

"Not exactly," I lied, "but I've had my eye on a certain someone, but I got a question."

"Shoot."

"How do you now when you love someone?"

She looked me in the eyes again, I felt like she was reading my soul. "What do you think it is?" I shrugged my shoulder again before answering, "I don't know, I've never loved anyone before."

She laughed, and I liked that I could make her laugh. She stopped and looked into my eyes, again. "Why do you always do that?"

"Do what?"

"You always stare into my eyes."

"I like looking into them." She said grinning. "Why?"

"You ask a lot of questions..."

I caught her staring at my lips, and I was staring at hers. I wanted to kiss her, but I was... scared. She leaned in and stood on her tippy toes. I looked to my right and she kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry. We should go." I said opening my car door and waited for her to get in.

Why am I such a bitch?
