THAT'S IT! I GIVE UP!
I have been waiting with my laptop connected to the internet for the past 4 hours for him to atleast Skype me but my butt-hole of a best friend doesn't even remember my birthday! A frigging butt-hole. It was 2nd September in India five and a half hours ago!
I may be a night girl but today was seriously not the night for me to stay awake. I looked at the picture of my parents my bedside table. Hundreds of thoughts ran in head. What if we had never moved to Kolkata from Mumbai? What if the car crash never happened?
On second thought, if I hadn't moved to Kolkata, I wouldn't have met my butt-hole if a best friend and wouldn't have Aman in my life. I wouldn't have met Claire or Veronica or Jesse or Mr. GWDCOMT.
I switched off the bedside table lamp and tried to sleep but all I could think about was
that everybody had forgotten my birthday. My 18th birthday. I know that I was making a big deal out of it but still. This is a big deal for me. I swich on my phone and stare at my Damon Salvatore wallpaper. Why did he have to be so HOT? Its 11:55. In five minutes I'll be 18. It's okay if no one remember my birthday. I'll tell them tomorrow. Or will that sound really weird?Happy Birthday Riya! In advance.
I switched of my phone and tried to sleep.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHIKU!" I heard a scream which almost turned me deaf.
It was Antara, Zee, Veronica, Claire, Bibz,Chachu and very sleepy Aman and Natasha.
Chiku! Why? Whyyyyyyy? Noooooo. Nobody was supposed to know that name!
"Open Up!" Jesse and Parker shouted from outside the window as Zee opened it.
"Happy Birthday Riya." Jesse and Parker said in unison.
Parker never calls me Riya. It's always Supergirl or Princess for him. Is it about the you-know-what?
"OMG! You guys remembered!" I squealed in joy."And when did you come?" I asked pointing at Ronnie and Claire.
"We were in Tara's room all evening. We were lucky that You didn't notice." Claire said.
"Did you really think I would forget my BFTF's birthday?" Tara said.
"Did you really think I would forget my sister blister never one's birthday?" Zee said."I could never forget my favourite daughter's birthday!" Bibz said.
"Neither could I." Chachu said."But how did these two young men break into my house through the window?" He continued.
"Actually, Dad, this story goes long back to middle school." Zee said.
"Does this happen often? I mean Parker entering Riya's room through the window?"
Chachu asked turning into his overprotective-daddy mode."No." Both Parker and I said in unison.
"Let me go get the cake." Bibz said.
I had been jumping around in joy that I get to spend my birthday with the people I loved. My eyes searched for my two younger siblings. They were sound asleep on my bed. The last line they probably said was wishing me.
Somehow I had ended up in front of my bedroom door due to all the jumping around.I felt a pat on my back. Assuming it was Bibz, I turned around to see what kind the cake was but it was a guy.
"Missed Me?" He asked.
