Chapter 33: Style It Is.

"I am bored." Tara said.

"So am I." Zee sighed.

Three of us lay on my bed with nothing to do in life.

"Let's play cricket." I said.

"What?" Tara said.

"We've got nothing better to do anyways." I said.

"You wanna play cricket. In the winter?"  Zee said.

"Wasn't winter always about playing badminton, football and cricket together?" I said.

"Actually let's go for a picnic. All of us. Like us, the Adams, Claire, Veronica and Kabir's family too." Tara said.

"And we can call Rachel and Armaan Bhai to check if they are free so they can join us for the weekend." Zee said .

"Proud of you my brother and sister." I said.

"Let's go to mom and tell her right now." Tara said.

"Don't forget the tennis balls. And the box of shuttles." Bibz said.

"It'll be fun playing cricket after all this time." Chachu commented.

"I can bet, he'll not last more than five minutes on the field." Bibz whispered to me.
I snickered.

"What?" Chachu asked.

"Nothing."

The picnic was taking place at the farmhouse Bibz and Chachu owned right outside the town. It was quite big and had enough place to fit in all of us.

"So, Mom, Dad, Maya, Anjali aunty and Sandeep uncle can go in Dad's car." Tara said.

"Kabir, Tara, Claire , Toby, Dylan, Aman and Austin in my car." Zee said.

"And Natasha, Ally, Rach, Jesse, Ronnie, Parker, Bhai and I go in Bhai's car." I said.

"Twister, Guess Who?, Badminton Rackets and Cricket stuff. Everything here." Kabir said.

"Tara, don't play Twister." I said referring to the minor accident we had the last time we played it together.

She stuck her tongue out. Zee and Kabir started laughing their asses off.

"Everyone move your butts and get into your respective cars." Rach yelled.

"Dibs on Shotgun!" Parker yelled and ran towards the car.

"Sorry brother, I have dibs on his shotgun for life. " Rach said ruffling his hair.

"Not fair."

"Aw. I'll probably let you sit while coming back." Rach said.

A smile crept on my face seeing the brother sister moment.

"So, Parker, huh." I heard Bhai's voice.

"Hmm?"

"Park's your boyfriend, right?"

"Yup."

"You're being careful, right?"

"BROOOO. Nooooo. We aren't doing anything like that."

"But I can see that he's changed you."

"How?"

"You barely smiled after the accident. Now, you're such a joyful person, all happy and chirpy, like you were before."

"I don't see it."

"You might not see it, but I do." He said.

"C'mon let's go." Veronica pulled me.
