Chapter 29: She Calls Him Pikachu!
"A good luck kiss for my lovely girlfriend." Parker said and gave me a quick peck on my lips.
"I will deal with you later.". I said.
"What happened now?" Parker said and walked towards the bench.
"The game has begun." The commentator shouted.
By half time , it was 4 - 4, both teams at the same score. The Greenville girls team was compatible with us. They played better than the boys.
The game begun again. At 3 minutes left. The score was 5-6, with the Greenville team leading. If we could make this one score, the match would be declared tie.
"So, you're his latest fling huh?"
"Um..?" I said trying to grab the ball from her.
"Pikachu's? Well, Parker's?"
She calls him Pikachu!
She threw the ball to her team mate.
"I won't let you win." She whispered.
"Let's see about that."
I motion a 5 to Tara indicating her to snatch the ball and 1 to Claire to catch it.
Claire caught the ball easily after Tara snatched it from one of the Greenville members. She threw the ball over to Susan who kept on distracting the Greenville members by switching the direction. She passed to Candice, who threw it over to me.
I ran towards the basket and threw the ball just in time.
"And it is a tie." The commentator yelled.
"Well played, Supergirl."
Who is Charlotte and why does she call you Pikachu?
"Thanks. But, stay away. You and I both stink. And I really don't want a stinky boyfriend, so, go and hit the showers."
"Meet us at the diner in an hour." Parker said.
"Sure."

After a lot of congratulations and celebrations, we finally left for Birdiie's Diner.
"Do any of you know the other team's captain?"
"Who? George Wall?" Claire asked.
"No. Charlotte Adams."
Tara and Claire glanced at each other.
"She isn't our story to tell." Claire said.
"She calls Parker, Pikachu!"
"And Jesse, Squirtle." Claire piped in.
Tara nudged Claire.
"How does she know him?" Veronica asked her.
"You'll find out once they want to tell you." Tara said.
"Boing is such a better name." Veronica said.
"Finally. " Claire sighed at the sight of the neon lighting of the diner.
"We've ordered your food." Zee said.
"Cool!" I said hopping into the seat opposite the boys with the girls joining me.
"What are you, 5?" Kabir said.
"Are we seriously playing Girls VS Boys right now?" Jesse said.
"Why don't you come and sit next to me, love." Parker said.
