Purple Child

Abandoned planet

"Alright Coran, set us down here." Shiro said. Coran had landed the ship with a small thud.

"This place is completely abandoned," Allura said in concern, "are you sure this is the right planet where you received the distress signal Pidge?"

"Yes, these are the right coordinates." Everyone moved forward to look out side of the castle ship's window. The sky was covered in in dark swirling clouds which low sounds of rumbling, the surface was unbalanced and covered in layers of rocks and tall pointy mountain. It was dark with only few rays of light shining through the darken gray clouds. It was eerie.

"I think I just saw something move we should leave, like now, this place is just too creepy." He said worried, while hiding behind Lance.

"I think we should go what if the people here are just hiding, I don't want to miss out on see all the cute ladies," every one glared at Lance in annoyance, Keith had rolled his eyes and walked forward to look out the castle window. Lance looked away from Keith giving a small frown, he then cleared his voice, "Um I mean I don't want to miss out on saving all the people who need help... yeah the people."

"Okay so I just found out that this planet used to be mined for a certain type of food mineral." Pidge announced.

"Food!" Hunk shouted in excitement slightly drooling. "Do you think we can get some free samples?"

"No," Pidge replied, Hunk frowned, "this place has been mined completely dry for many Deca-Phoebs now, and with out this resource life is unable to thrive here and now the planet is dying and... READY TO IMPLODE ANY DAY NOW!"

"Wait, did you just say implode!?" Hunk said as he made a hand gesture demonstration the planets end, "maybe we should just leave, this place is just too creepy." He said looking at the team which all had worried faces now.

"We can't someone is waiting to be rescued." Pidge explained.

"Yeah your right." Hunk sighed not ready for another tiresome mission.

"Alright, then its settled." Shiro said as he clapped his hands together, like a soccer coach, "Coran and Allura should stay in the castle and prepare supplies for anyone we may rescue, as well as getting the ship ready for take off if the planet starts to collapse." evryone looked at him worried, "Anyway we are only going to take the black and blue lions just incase we need a quick escape and we will be together in groups just incase something hostile is around."

"Hos..hostile!?" Hunk said absolutely worried now.

"Awsome! Hunk your my partner, lets go!" Lance said estaticly as he pulled Hunk by the arm to his lion.

Keith scoffed and crossed his arms as he tuned his head to the side, like an emo boi. Shiro, Pidge and Allura giggled because they knew Keith wanted to go with lance and was jelouse now. Shiro and Pidge both patted Keith on the shoulder and headed twards the black lion. Keith looked at them in confusion. To him nobody knew of his crush on lance, but the truth was everyone knew, except Lance of corse. He moodily trailed behind.

Every one landed near where the coordinates were. There was a tall box shaped building, with large empty tanks covered in green bubbly goo inside. The only light on the building was a purple glow of wires on the wall. The team came closer to the door, it looked busted like something bashed it in. Lance pointed his bayard gun inside.

"Hello!" His voice echoed loudly in the room it was dark and abandoned.

"Hello, is any one here we are team Voltron, we picked up your distress signal." Pidge said as they peeked their head in. The door collapsed down, the bang frightened hunk as he hid behind Shiro.

"Guys, I have a bad feeling about this place, like what bashed the door to bits like that? I think we should leave, it's obviously abandoned."

"I think we should at least look inside maybe their hiding? We should look around a little more." Lance proclaimed.

"Wait." Keith said.

"What you scared now too." Lance said mockingly to Keith.

"No," Keith grumbled "I just noticed that there are two buildings, shouldn't we check that one as well?"

"Yea, we probably should." Said Pidge.

"Okay then here's the plan, since this building is larger I want Pidge, Hunk, and Lance to check this one. Keith and I will check the smaller building as well as around the perimeter." Shiro said. Every one agreed to the plan and started their search. As they went in to the building a pair of blue glowing eyes watched.

This won't have much klance at the begging I'm just trying to set the scene for the story.
