Will they accept us?- Yoonseok

Chapter 1: Distance

Hoseok's POV

When they got to the building and into their practice room, they saw that the were messing around. All of them turned to see the awkward boys, who had just walked into the room.

"Hey guys! You two finally came!" Taehyung greeted excitedly.

"It must've been hard waking up Suga-hyung, huh?" Jimin giggled.

The two jolly boys didn't even faze the tension between the older ones. Of course, Hoseok noticed that they had taken note of his and Yoongi's odd behavior, since he himself would've join in the fun once they had walked through the door.

Namjoon let out a small awkward cough to try and change the subject. "Let's just start practicing."

Through the day, Hoseok didn't dare stare at Yoongi for a long time. When he did take glances at the older, his heart rate would increase. This, of course, had Hoseok wondering what he was feeling for the older.

He had felt it before. The feeling he was feeling when he looked at the older. In the past, he kept on telling himself it was normal, but now he didn't know what to think about it.

At the moment, they were taking a thirty minute break. Hobi was on the others side of the room on the floor. He took a quick glance at Suga, who was on the other side of the room. He quickly regretted looking at Yoongi because the older caught Hoseok looking at him.

Why did you have to do that this morning?! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be having this much trouble communicating! I wish we could be the way we're before! Where we were just friends!

Do I even want to just be friends with him?

Hoseok caught himself on the last thought. He felt his face heat up a bit.

"Hyung? Are you ok?"

Hoseok looked up to see Jungkook wearing a worried face.

"Your face is red. Do you have a fever?" Jungkook touched the dancer's forehead. "You shouldn't push yourself if your sick. I thought we've told you that you shouldn't push yourself. You're not even focusing well."

"Sorry, I'm just not feeling it today. I... woke up tired this morning. Last night I wasn't able to sleep."

"I think you should go home. Both you and Suga-hyung should head to the dorm. You guys seem out of it today, and that's saying something since Suga-hyung is always looking tired."

Hoseok quickly shook his head. "I'll be fine. Honestly, I don't feel to bad."

"I think Jungkook-ah is right." Jin agreed while coming up to them. "I'm going to go tell Joonie about this."

"But-!"

"No 'but's! If you to aren't feeling well then you two should rest before your health declines even more." With that, Jin left the two to tell their leader about the sick looking members.

Hoseok watched Jin and Namjoon talking and saw Namjoon look at him and then Yoongi. The leader nodded his head and walked towards him as the oldest approached Yoongi.

"Jin said you and Yoongi-hyung should go home, and I agree with him. I've seen how unfocused you two were during practice. If you two are feeling sick and not feeling it today, the best thing to do is go home and take a break."

Hoseok let out a sigh, knowing it was useless to argue against his leader. "Ok, tell Yoongi-hyung I'm going to be waiting for him at the entrance."

Hoseok left after Namjoon turned around and headed to where Yoongi was. Patiently, he waited at the entrance of the building just like he said, until he heard footsteps coming from behind.

Yoongi walked right past him, motioning with his hand for Hoseok to follow him. On the way there, silence filled the atmosphere. Both of them never tried to stir up a conversation at all.

Suga shut the door to his room, once they got to the dorm, leaving Hoseok behind in hallway. The younger of the two walked into his and Jimin's shared bedroom and slowly shut the door.

I really hate this distance between us.
