Chapter 31: Kidnapping

Hoseok's POV

After the vandalism incident, surprisingly, no one knew about it except those who were at the building and the ones who cleaned it off, who have promised not to tell anyone.

They had deciphered what was on the papers, which had spelled: 'I will take my rightful place as Yoongi's lover and become the mother of his child'.

Hoseok and Yoongi were informed the next day about the message. Since yesterday, Hoseok felt anxious and nervous, and he didn't want to leave the baby at the dorm.

"Are you sure your going to be ok?" Hoseok asked Chorong, who had arrived not too long ago, with a worried expression.

"I'm sure everything will be fine, Hoseok." Chorong assured. "Hannam The Hill has good security. I'm sure no one suspicious will be able to come through."

"You're right." Hoseok said, calming down a bit. "I'm going to catch up with the others. Take care and stay safe."

"I sure will." Chorong said, closing the door as the male turned around to catch up to his friends.

While walking away from the dorm, he thought about who could've written the Morse code and the spray paint.

Who could it be? Could someone be sasaeng at our entertainment? Could it be someone out of the supposedly trusted staffs, or someone who just overheard a conversation? Could it be Chorong?

His last question made him freeze, but then he shook his head. If she were to do that, she'd be going against her dad, and she doesn't seem to be the type to do that.

When he reached the others, they all headed to the Bighit Entertainment building. Once they got there, they were once again back at their bosses office.

"I want to ask you guys if there is anyone you have in mind of who could've known and have done what they did yesterday." Hitman Bang asked.

"I can't think of anyone who would do that." Namjoon said thoughtfully.

"Nor can I." Jimin said.

Everyone else was shaking their head Hoseok was debating if he should mention his suspicion on Chorong. When they asked him about anyone he was suspicious about, he responded with a short, 'no'.

Afterwards, they went to the practice room to practice the new dance more. They practiced for about five hours, before they heard the sound of a phone ringing.

"Hello? Did something happen, Chorong?" Hoseok questioned after he answered the call.

"Hoseok-ah." She said, sounding a bit troubled. "I want to tell you that... ME AND THE BABY HAVE BEEN KIDNAPPED!!!"

"YOU BI-!" An unknown female voice said.

Hoseok heard the phone hang up. He didn't know how to take in the information that he had just received. He felt like the world had just come crushing down on him.

"Hoseok? What happened? Is Chorong and the baby ok?" Yoongi asked worriedly.

"They were kidnapped." Hoseok's whisper was barely audible, but Yoongi, being the closest, heard him.

"No, that can't be." Yoongi gasped.

"What is it? Tell us!" Taehyung begged.

"Chorong and Haneul have been kidnapped!" Hoseok wailed.

"That's impossible!" Jin exclaimed in a shocked voice.

"I'm going to go tell Bang pd-nim about this." Namjoon said, running out the room.

"I should have never left them at home alone." Hoseok cried. "She's my baby! I should be the one taking care of her!"

"Hoseok calm down." Yoongi pleaded.

"How can I?" Hoseok said, crying even more. "This is all my fault. If I had been in Chorong's place-!"

"If you were in Chorong's position, what would you do?!" Yoongi screamed over Hoseok. "Nothing would have changed. Either way, someone was bound to kidnap the baby and whoever was looking after her as we all left the dorm.

Don't forget you also have me! Haneul is our child not just yours! I could've stayed too, but I didn't! One of us could've stayed, but no one did! So, don't go blaming yourself for everything! Please understand your not the one to blame for all this."

"I'm sorry; I just don't know what to do." Hoseok hiccupped because of how hard he had been crying. "I'm so worried."

"We all are." Yoongi said, hugging the crying male.

"We'll get them back; I promise."
