Chapter 34: Appears and disapears

Hoseok's POV

Two weeks have past since they found the culprits behind the kidnapping. Although they were missing the boss of group, the detectives were trying to get enough information to find Chorong and the one behind the whole kidnapping.

Bighit's CEO had given the group a break and told them to stick together- unless one of their managers was with them- since the Sasaeng fan was still on the run and could do anything to harm Yoongi, Hoseok, or Haneul.

At the moment, the two male parents were laying down in their bed that they now shared. Jimin had taken Yoongi's room, so Hoseok and Yoongi could take care of the baby together.

Suddenly, Yoongi's ringtone ringed through the air. Hoseok watched as Yoongi picked up the phone after looking at the ID caller. Hoseok saw his lover's face show relief, but then it changed into a confused face.

"What do you mean?" Yoongi spoke into the phone. There was a moment of silence before he spoke again. "All right, we'll head over there in a bit."

"Who was it?" Hoseok questioned.

"It was Dr. Yoo. He told me that they found Chorong, but the girl that looked like her claimed that she was her boss. Chorong doesn't want to say anything until we go, so she can explain to us what happened"

"Are you positive that's what he said?"

"Positive. I told him we'd head over there, so get ready while I text Manager Sejin-nim, ok?"

"Okay."

After getting ready, they said 'Goodbye' to the others, left the baby in their care, and went outside, where Manager Sejin waited. Once they got there, they pulled on their masks and hats and headed inside to where they went the first time they came.

They were now following the detective to a room where Chorong was being held. "She's in here." The detective said, opening the door.

Unlike last time, this was the real Chorong, but she was handcuffed to the table. "Dad, Hoseok, Yoongi, thank god you're here guys!"

"Chorong! Are you ok?" Dr. Yoo said, rushing to Chorong's side and hugging her.

"What happened while you were kidnapped?!" Hoseok asked worriedly.

"Are you going to explain now?" The detective asked, setting up a camera that would be taken a recording of the interrogation.

"Yes, ask me anything you need to know."

"Just so you know everything you say and do will be held against you. After all, you also are a suspect of kidnapping since the crazy girl claimed you were her boss." The detective turned on the camera. "What happened when they kidnapped you?"

Hoseok held back a protest against the detectives words. He glanced at Yoongi's and Dr. Yoo's face to see them clenching their jaws to hold back words.

"I'm not sure how they went through the security, but, when they knocked on the door, I thought it might have been my dad or someone else coming to check on me. Once I opened the door, they forced themselves in and took me by force, separating me from the baby.

I was told to act natural in the open as if I was hanging out with some friends. They threatened to harm the baby if I tried to runaway or call for help."

"Security?"

"Yes, where I was at there were security before you enter to visit someone."

"Okay, do you know where they took you?"

"No. After we got into the van, I was blindfolded."

"If they had you threatened, then why did you say you were kidnapped in the call you made?"

"When I made the call, I was supposed to say that they had to give them money in order to get me and the baby back. Before the call, I told them that if anything went wrong, that I'd take any punishment for the baby."

"Did they hit you?"

"Yes, but the bruises have faded now."

"Do you know this girl?" The detective pushed a photo of the crazy girl from last time.

"Her face looks familiar." Chorong said thoughtfully. "I think she was with the people who kidnapped me. Her hair was a different color; brown I believe."

"Did you ever see someone giving orders?"

"No, but they did receive calls from someone."

"Why does this girl" -pointed back at the picture- "Say that you are her boss?"

"I don't know. I don't know her. I've only seen her a couple times in the room I was held in."

"That's it all the questions I have for you. I'll be right back." The detective said, getting out of the room.

While the detective was away, the males in the room began to ask if she was ok and to explain more in detail what happened. After a long time of waiting, the detective came back, delivering good news about Chorong being deemed innocent and could go back home.

"It feels nice to get out of there." Chorong said, stretching her arms up into the sky. She had gotten all her stuff back, had papers signed some, and other things that they had to do.

"We'll be heading home now." Dr. Yoo said, walking to his car.

"We'll see you guys around." Chorong said, waving her hand while following her dad.

The ones that were left waited until they were out of view. They guessed that they couldn't park near do to the parking lot being full.

"Well, know that that's over-" Manager Sejin got interrupted by the detective running back outside in a hurry.

"Where is Chorong?" The detective demanded.

"She just left. Why do you need to know? What's going on?" Yoongi asked.

"I had a bad feeling that Chorong was lying, so I did a lie detector test on that weird girl. It turns out she was telling the truth!

Chorong was behind everything!"
