Chapter 29: Meeting baby Haneul

Yoongi's POV

Yoongi was holding baby Haneul after he had helped Dr. Yoo do measurements, how much she weighed, and other things like that. They had wrapped Haneul in a blanket to keep in the warmth.

Yoongi smiled at the small bundle. He glanced at Hoseok with a worried face. The younger had been sleeping since he had given birth. Yoongi was worried that he would never wake up.

"Can we see her now?" Jin asked, peeking through the crack in the door to the room.

Yoongi nodded his head. "Just be quiet because Hoseok is sleeping."

"She is so cute." Taehyung complimented.

"Can I hold her?" Jin asked.

"Sorry, but Hoseok hasn't held her since he was worn out after the birth." Yoongi explained.

"It's fine, and we get it."

"After Hoseok holds her, can I hold her?" Jimin pleaded with his hands clapped together in a begging motion.

"I'll ask Hoseok." That was all Yoongi said before a war started between the members.

"I asked first though." Jin complained.

"But I want to hold her after Hoseok. I'm the youngest I should get experience when I have a child of my own." Jungkook whined.

"You're too young to be thinking about having a child, Jungkookie. Plus, I doubt you have female organs." Jimin said.

"Who says I'm having the child." Jungkook said, giving him a look that said, 'Are you crazy?'. "I top in all relationships."

"You do know Hoseok has a very, very rare case in which he was born naturally with female organs, right?" Namjoon asked.

"Yes, I know." The youngest replied. "Doesn't mean there isn't a small chance that Jimin might have female organs."

"Yeah!- wait- w-what?!" Jimin looked at Jungkook with a shocked face.

"Uhmm... A-autoc-correct?!" Jungkook's red face amused Yoongi a lot.

"Wha-? Um? But this is... oh, never mind." Namjoon said, reverting the conversation back to the original topic. "Anyway, it should be me to hold the baby after Hoseok. After all, I am a fatherly figure, making me something similar to a grandfather."

"You'd break the baby!" Seokjin exclaimed. "And I have as much right as you do. I'm a motherly figure as much as you are a fatherly one."

That's how they all, except Taehyung, started fighting on who should hold the baby. The fact that Taehyung wasn't saying anything, made Yoongi wonder why he wasn't fighting with the others.

"Why are you being all quiet?" The rapper questioned.

"Because I know Hoseok will let me hold the baby after he holds her." Taehyung said confidently. "By the way, what did the doctor say about his health?"

"Dr. Yoo said that he should be fine, and that he only needs to rest about a month. The medicine that he had made for the two really helped them both, so nothing should go wrong. All Hoseok needs is rest."

"That's good news." Taehyung commented.

Hoseok's POV

Hoseok woke up to the sound of a group of people arguing. He opened his eyes a bit to see what was happening. "Could you guys shut up?" He said in groggy voice.

They all turned to the male on the bed and bombarded him with questions about his health, forgetting all about their previous conversation.

"I'm fine, guys." Hoseok sat up with the help of Jin and Taeyhung, since Yoongi had his hands full holding the baby.

"Do you want to hold her?" Yoongi asked. "She ways nine pounds, so she's pretty heavy and healthy."

Hoseok smiled sweetly at the sight of his and Yoongi's baby girl. I still can't believe how I gave birth to such a healthy, beautiful, and heavy baby girl. "She is such a beautiful baby girl."

"I bet she's going to look just like you." Yoongi said.

"No, I bet she is going to look like you." Hoseok disagreed.

"Well, if she's going to look like me, then she is going to have your spirit."

Yoongi smiled towards Hoseok's direction, making his heart speed up a little. Even after all they had spent together, Hoseok could never get rid of the feeling of his heart bursting whenever Yoongi was sweet.

"Could you two stop being lovey-dovey, and tell us who's the next person to hold the baby?" Jungkook said with an annoyed face.

"Yeah, can I be next?" Jin said desperately.

After Jin's questioned, everyone, except Taehyung- because he was confident Hoseok would pick him up- started fighting over who was next.

"Guys." Yoongi said irritated.

"I'll choose who's next, so can you shut up?!" Hoseok said, yelling at the end. "Plus, your going to wake up the baby if you keep yelling."

"Says the one who yelled just right now." Jimin muttered, but Hoseok was still able to hear him.

Hoseok rolled his eyes and then continued speaking. "Taehyung will be the next person to hold the baby."

Everyone, except Taehyung, looked at him as if he was crazy. "Huh?"

"I chose Taehyung because he was there to make me and Yoongi get back together- well, sort of. He was the one who came up to us both and asked what was going on and giving us advice on what we could do."

"Thank you, Hoseok. I will honor this moment until I carry my own child in my arms." Taehyung was on his knees ready to hold Haneul.

"Taehyung quit exaggerating and get up to hold the baby right." Hoseok said in a monotone voice.

"Ok." Taehyung stood up and held the baby in his arms.

Hoseok watched the others take turns carrying the baby and sending compliments at her. He felt so happy at that moment that he forgot he was tired until he let out a yawn.

"Are you feeling ok, Hoseok?" Yoongi said with a worried expression.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just tired." Hoseok said, reassuring Yoongi he was fine and that nothing bad will happen.

"Good because I don't know what I would do without you."
