Chapter 7: Exhaustion

Hoseok's POV

A month and a half has past since Hoseok had asked Yoongi to show him his love for him.

After that day, Hoseok was sore for two days. The members noticed that the next morning and asked what had happened. Since he obviously couldn't say the truth, he just said that he hit his leg against the furniture really hard.

Hoseok saw the worriment in the members' eyes, so he said the pain would go away in a day or two. He also heard Yoongi say the same thing he said when the others asked him about it to make it seem believable.

During their imprisonment, the two still practiced the new dance they were learning. They had to learn it through a video that the choreographer did.

Now, Yoongi and Hoseok were finally allowed to go back to the practice room and their studios. At first, they felt uncomfortable for a couple days and blushed whenever they saw each other. Then, they were able to get being around each other more.

They only had conversations about the dance they were learning or about lyrics they wrote along with the beat or melody to music they've done. Other than that they didn't talk much, but the mood around them wasn't tense.

Fans noticed how their friendship was getting better, but it was still not like how it used to be. Everyone on Twitter had posted updates on them and how they were doing.

Currently, they were in the practice room. The boys have been practicing for a couple hours already. For some reason, Hoseok felt more tired than usual. At the moment, they were about to start up the music again after taking a break.

"You ok?" Jin said coming up to the younger of the two.

"Yeah, but I don't know why I'm feeling more tired than usual."

"You don't want to take a longer break?"

"No, I think I'll be fine."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

They started to practice again. Hoseok was sweating a lot, exhausted, and was really thirsty and hungry.

"Hoseok, I really think you should take a break." Jin said.

"I'll take him home!" Taehyung said, coming up from behind, putting arm around Hoseok's shoulders, and pulling him closer.

"I don't need to go home!" Hoseok snapped.

"Hyung, I've noticed how recently you've been more tired. Is it that foot of yours?"

"No, it hasn't been hurting since I stopped l-limping." Suddenly, memories of that night came rushing in. His face turned a light shade of red, and he quickly looked down.

"You are so bad at lying, hyung. Come on let's go home!" Taehyung excitedly said, guiding Hoseok to the exit by holding his hand.

"I'll take him home." One of the others took his hand away from Taehyung's.

"Yoongi-hyung you should stay and practice." Namjoon said.

"I'll be fine. Plus, this could help me bond with him more. You know like you guys wanted me to."

"Ok..." Namjoon said slowly. "I guess you can take him home, but don't forget to practice."

When Namjoon finished speaking, Yoongi led Hoseok to the exit of the room and the building. Once they got into the dorm, Hoseok was quickly pulled to Yoongi's room and slammed against the door.

"Don't let Taehyung be so touchy with you." The older said in a low voice.

"W-what?" Hoseok was confused as to why Yoongi was acting like this. He quickly thought about how Taehyung has pulled him close and had his arms around him. "A-are you... jealous?"

Turning away and putting his hand over his face, Yoongi answered, "I know I shouldn't be jealous, but I can't help it. It's hard pretending things are normal when I still love you. It hurts knowing we can't be together, and we have to be aware of who would be hurt if we dated."

Hoseok's eyes softened after hearing what Yoongi had to say. "I still love you, too. It's hard to be around you sometimes and act normal. How we have to act like nothing happened between us, kills me inside."

"I thought I could try to be okay with this. I thought if I put the others first it would be enough motivation to try to forget about it. I just want to be with you."

"I want to be with you, too. Can we just please be together?" Hoseok pleaded really hard and desperately.

"Yes, but we have to keep it a secret."
