Chapter 28: Welcome, Min Haneul

Hoseok's POV

Hoseok and Yoongi were laying on Hoseok's bed, doing nothing but scroll through their phones.

Hoseok sighed and placed his phone on the bed. "I'm tired of just laying down on the bed, doing nothing."

"We could cuddle." Yoongi suggested.

"That's still doing nothing!" Hoseok whined. "I'm going to the bathroom."

"Do you need help?"

"Just to sit up." Hoseok our his hands straight up in the air, waiting for Yoongi to help him up. After the older had helped Hoseok, he went to the restroom to do his business.

When coming back from the restroom, he felt a pain in his stomach. "Ugh... Damn contractions." Hoseok grumbled while leaning against the entrance doorway to his and Jimin's room.

"Are you ok?" Yoongi asked.

"It's just the contractions nothing to worry about." Hoseok said. Right when he was about to walk over to the bed, he felt something trickle down his leg.

"Hoseok?" Jimin asked worriedly, looking up from his phone to his roommate.

"I-I think... my water broke." Hoseok said in shock.

"Oh shit." Yoongi muttered, dialing Dr. Yoo's number. "Dr. Yoo?... Hoseok's water broke." Yoongi began to explain and listen to what they had to do in the meantime.

Hoseok felt another contraction coming along a bit more painful than the one before. "Yoongi, hurry up and get the bed ready." Hoseok said, clenching his teeth.

"I'm going! I'm going!" Yoongi said, rushing to put towels and getting stuff for Hoseok to prop his legs on. "Come here and lay down."

Hoseok nodded his head and laid down. Once he was on the bed and prepared for birth, he felt another contraction. Sweat was starting form on Hoseok's head.

He tightened his grip on the bedsheets every time a contraction came in more stronger than the one before and closer to the next one.

Finally, Dr. Yoo came in with Jungkook helping him with an IV bag. "Everyone get out, please. How far apart are the contractions know?" The doctor asked Yoongi.

"Around two minutes apart now." Yoongi answered.

"Ok, he should be ready to push." Dr. Yoo said. "Hoseok, I need you take a deep breath and push hard."

Hoseok did as he was told. He took a very deep breath, took the hand Yoongi offered into his, and squeezed it as he pushed as hard as he could.

He had to do a natural birth since they obviously couldn't do a c-section. Having a natural birth also meant that he would have to push the baby out of his hole.

"Argh!" Hoseok said pushing for the fifth time. With clenched teeth, he managed to tell, "This is fucking painful!"

"It's going to be all right, Hoseok. You can do this." Yoongi tried to calm down Hoseok with reassuring words and a soft voice.

"Shut up! Don't you know how painful this is?!" Hoseok yelled. It was obvious he was in a lot of pain to make him yell and worked up. "Damn you, Yoongi! Why did you put me through this?!"

"Hoseok! Calm down and push!" Yoongi yelled.

Hoseok pushed as hard as he could. After about three hours of pain, he had given birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl that was in Yoongi's arms. He was painting hard, but was still alive and well.

Dr. Yoo took out a small device that tracked Hoseok's heartbeat and connected that and the IV bag to him. "Looks like Hoseok's heartbeat is fine."

Hoseok smiled at the sight of Haneul being carried by Yoongi, but he closed his eyes out of tiredness.

He felt so out of energy that he didn't want to do anything else but sleep.

A/N: Hey guys! So my cat likes a lot of things (food related). She likes tortillas, the egg whites when eggs are boiled, rice, Fresas con crema/strawberries and cream, churros, etc., etc. Barely any of my cats like that, so I find it weird. Is it weird?
