Hoseok's POV
Hoseok was seven weeks away from giving birth. Still, the others wanted him to have a baby shower. So, at the moment, they were putting up decorations of different hues of pink.
They had gotten a balloons that said 'It's a girl!', and had gotten balloon letters that spelled 'Haneul'. Everyone was having fun while getting everything ready for when the guest came.
The only people that were coming were: Bang Shihyuk, their managers, some of the staff that were trusted with the secret, Mr. and Mrs. Jung, and Mr. and Mrs. Min. Dr. Yoo said he'd tried to make it and that Chorong was coming later.
"Is everything set up?" Hoseok said, finishing a knot on the balloon.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure they'll come later though, since we finished earlier than we thought." Jimin responded.
"It's still good to have a break in between, but this sill gives us a lot of time to get ready." Namjoon said.
They all agreed to get ready and then watch a movie in the mean time. The party started at seven, so that meant they had at least an hour and a half.
Yoongi's parents were the first to arrive. Then, their boss came along with some of the staff that were allowed to come. Afterwards, their managers came at different times. Lastly, Hoseok's parents came at the same time as Chorong.
"On our way up here, we had a conversation with the babysitter." Mrs. Jung said. "She is such a nice girl with a well planned future. It's a shame she won't be a doctor, but it's a good thing for us since we do need a babysitter."
"Yeah, we're lucky Dr. Yoo has a daughter that could help us with Haneul." Hoseok said.
"Haneul?"
"That's the name of our baby girl." Hoseok rubbed his big stomach.
"It's a nice name. Did you come up with it, or did Yoongi come up with the name?" Mr. Jung asked.
"Yoongi did, and I couldn't ask for a better name." Hoseok smiled proudly, knowing that Yoongi had picked a good and special name to the two. Even though he never met the seven-year-old Haneul, he knew that Yoongi would have wanted to spend more time with the little girl.
"It's a pretty name." Mrs. Jung commented.
"It sure is." Mr. Jung agreed.
"So the baby's name is Haneul?!" Mr. Min questioned excitedly, jumping into the conversation.
"Yeah, do you like it? I asked Hoseok if it was ok if we could name her that." Yoongi boasted with a big grin.
While they were happy and having fun, Hoseok noticed how distant Mrs. Min was. She kept to herself, and she looked more awkward and uncomfortable than anything else.
"Can I talk to you in private, Mrs. Min?" Hoseok asked.
"Sure." Mrs. Min answered.
They walked towards an empty room, so they could have a conversation without being bothered.
"The reason why I wanted to talk to you is because I noticed that you seemed to be uncomfortable. Does it have to do with what is happening?" Hoseok was curious as to why Mrs. Min was acting the way she was. He wanted to know if Yoongi's mom had finally accepted him.
"Sort of..." She said, starting off with a soft voice. " It's just... I've never really liked thinking about the idea of my son being bisexual.
My parents forced me into disliking gays, lesbians, and many other thing that here in Korea are a taboo at a young age. They were also strict on me, which has stuck with me ever since.
His older brother was always supportive of him when he said he wanted to make music while me and his father were strict about it, even though I was the one who led his father to be like that.
So, when I found out about his sexuality I didn't know what to do. After a few days, his father told me that he really didn't care about his sexuality nor his decision to make music.
He told me that it worried him that his son took a risky career; especially if he were to become famous and then his sexuality would become a problem.
Now, that your pregnant, I want to accept him more than ever because I've always dreamed of having grandchildren. I honestly wish and hope I'll accept him and don't let my past get in the way." Mrs. Min had unexpectedly tear up.
Hoseok brought the older women into a light hug. "I'm sure you'll accept him. A mother never turns down her child, even at their deathbed will they finally learn to love and accept their children.
But I know you'll accept him. Let him know that you're accepting him. Don't distance yourself unless you want Yoongi to think the opposite."
"Thank you, Hoseok." Mrs. Min said, pulling away to wipe her tears away.
"I'm glad your the one my son is having a child with."
