Chapter 33: Culprit captured

Hoseok's POV

  It's been a week and a half since they've heard from the police. Each day, they'd call just in case anyone has reported anything.

  So far, their plan was working. No one found out that Hoseok and Yoongi along with the company were involved in the case. The police had promised to keep them out of the case and had accepted the proposal of Dr. Yoo being the one who had reported them missing as well as receiving the call.

  Hoseok was still practicing the dance moves he was taught. Even though the process was slow because of the worry and stress of what was going on, he still tried his best to go aid and push aside the problem.

"Hoseok!"

  He heard the practice room door open and saw Yoongi, who had an uneven breathing thanks to running. Thinking that maybe it had to do with the kidnapping, he asked, "What is it?!"

  "They found Haneul!" Yoongi said excitedly.

  "Really?!"

  "Yes! We're heading over to the police station after we head home and change." Yoongi said.

  "Ok then let's go!"

  Both of them were going home to change into something more presentable. Hoseok took a shower before getting ready to wash of the stench of sweat. Yoongi and Hoseok were the only ones going since they didn't want to bring any attention to themselves.

"Are you two ready?" Their manager, Sejin, asked, who was going with them and was waiting for them.

"Yeah, let's go." Hoseok said, putting on his white hat and mask.

Yoongi was also wearing a mask and hat, but both materials were black. The three men kept their identities hidden from the world. After meeting up with the police and the detectives that were investigating the case, Dr. Yoo came in.

"Nice to see you, again, Hoseok and Yoongi." The doctor said, shaking their hands in the process.

"Nice to meet you, too, Dr. Yoo." The other three males greeted.

Once they were done greeting each other, the detective began to explain what and who they had found. "We found the baby and the girl you described as Chorong."

"Can we go see them now?" Hoseok asked anxiously.

"Yes, follow me." The detective led them down a few corridors before stopping in front of a door to open it.

Once the door was opened, it revealed a white room with a girl and a baby. The girl had dirty-blond, wavy hair and pale skin. She was facing the opposite direction from the door, humming a soft toon; it looked like she was holding baby Haneul, who was crying softly.

"Chorong?" Dr. Yoo questioned.

"Yes, father." The girl turned around to reveal a smirk on her face.

"That's not Chorong!" Dr. Yoo yelled.

"Who are you?" The detective questioned.

"The kidnapper obviously." The girl said while giggling like a maniac.

"Give me the baby." Hoseok demanded.

"Go ahead." The girl said, shoving the baby into Hoseok's hands. "The brat was getting annoying with it's cries."

"Tell us where Chorong is!" Dr. Yoo questioned with desperateness in his voice.

"Oh, the girl that looks like me. I sent her somewhere else."

"To where exactly?" Yoongi asked.

"Somewhere far, far away."

"Tell us where she is!" The detective interrogated.

"Sorry, but I'm under orders to not tell anyone where she is."

"Who's giving you orders?" The detective asked again.

"I'm not allowed to say who my boss is either." She said, putting her finger against her lips. "I have to stay quiet."

"Whoever you are, you are under arrest for kidnapping." The detective said, graving handcuffs from his side and cuffing the woman's hands together behind her back.

"Arrest me for all I care." The girl said in a crazy like voice. "I wont be here for long."

The detective went to put in the criminal into an interrogation room and then came back to speak to them about what they had just found out. "I'm so sorry about that. We thought that was the girl you were talking about since she was the only one that matched the description when we found the baby."

"It's fine; we understand the confusion, and that it's not your fault that they have her somewhere else." Dr. Yoo assured. "But I wish that had been my daughter that you guys found and not some crazy person that helped kidnap the baby."

"At least you were able to find the baby healthy and in one piece." oongi said, trying to look on the bright side.

"That is true, but now we will be trying to look for Chorong. We will make an announcement later today, once we've got all the information down and the posters ready."

"Thank you so much for your help." Dr. Yoo responded , shaking the detective's hand.

"Your welcome. I'll inform you when we have some sort of news of her." The detective said.

After bidding farewells, Dr. Yoo and the other three men from Bighit went their separate ways home.

After Hoseok and Yoongi went home, they rested in their bedroom with their baby, for today had been a long day.
