"It's the little things in life."
-Unkown

~---☀-----☀---~

It's been four months since Casey, Dane, Skylar, and I moved in with the boys. 4 months since Mom and Dad passed. It's been rough here and there. The funeral was small. Just the family, Logan, and Why Don't We.

We split their ashes between us five. It's the little piece we have of them. August 16th, that's the day we lost them. It's been a little over four moths and here we are. Christmas day.

I slowly got out of bed. I knew Sky wouldn't be bothering anyone, it was going to be tough because it's the first Christmas without them.

I took a quick shower and went to my closet. I picked out red plaid pajama pants, a forest green long sleeve, and grey fuzzy socks. I slipped them on and headed downstairs.

"'Morning. How'd the queen sleep?" Dani greeted me.

"Great. And how are you awake?"I asked.

"I always wake up semi-early to make breakfast for everyone on Christmas. It's kinda my thing." He explained as he scrolled through his phone.

I nodded when I saw the whole table filled with food. I looked at him, "You really went all out, huh?"

"The least I can do. I mean it's your first Christmas here!" He said enthusiastically while setting his phone down. "You mind waking everyone up with me?"

"Sure. I'll take my siblings, you take the band."

We snuck upstairs and then started screaming Christmas carols up and down the halls. We opened all the doors to their rooms and sang as loud as we could.

As I peered into Casey and Dane's room, which they obviously shared, a shoe came out of nowhere and hit my stomach. I coughed and looked up.

"Casey! You shouldn't throw a shoe at your twin!" I yelled.

Him and Dane laughed, "Sorry, sis. Why are you waking us up anyways? Just because it's Christmas doesn't mean I can miss my beauty sleep."

"Dude. Dani made breakfast for everyone. Now get up or I'll let Jonah eat your boys' food."

I made my way towards the stairs when I saw Corbyn walk out of Sky's room carrying her. I loved seeing them like this. I walked downstairs and sat at the table, soon joined by the others.

We ate, talked, and laughed all through breakfast. Then, when we thought we were safe, Logan pushed open the front door and walked in singing jingle bells, a little too loudly.

We all laughed at him. He was such a goof.

"Yo, let's open the presents!!!" He yelled. We followed him to the living room where the tree was.

We started opening presents one by one. We had a pretty good sized amount of gifts, so let's say what people got, they were pretty pleased.

Zach opened his very last present to find nothing in it. "There's nothing in it. What kind of cruel joke is this?!"

"Zach, calm down, baby boy. There should be a paper at the bottom." Logan said.
