I changed into track shorts and a sports bra, then sat by the pool with my feet in the water. I knew Jace and Kian would want an explanation. I wouldn't know how they'd take it.

I looked at the stars in the sky above. They were beautiful. I thought of Corbyn. He loved this, and so do I. I never told him how much I adore it and how I want to know why he loves it.

I looked at my phone. I opened up the texts getting bombarded by questions from the two in the group chat. I only read the most recent ones, then responded.

Jace🍁: dude where did you go??

Jace🍁: you left without telling us??

Kian🏈: Where are you

Jace🍁: Please respond Mik

Kian🏈: we're just worried

Kian🏈: We need to know you're okay

Kian🏈: Milan!?

Jace🍁: We just need to know where you went and if you're okay

Jace🍁: Where did you go

Kian🏈: Where in the world are you?

Me: Are you ready for the explanation?

Me: The boys didn't tell you but they bought me plane ticket back to LA. The morning you woke in my apartment was the morning I left. They said I needed to come back. I wanted to be home so I accepted.

Jace🍁: You're with them now?

Kian🏈: Why didn't you tell us?!

Me: They're all asleep, but I'm with them at home yes. I didn't want to hurt you guys more than I already have. I didn't know how you guys would take it so I left without notice. I'm sorry
