"Paint-chipped skies
Nothing is ever as it seems
Behind these codeine eyes
Blind to the world in between"

"Hold on, we're going home."

We're finally home. Logan and my siblings surprised us back at the house. They braught lunch and a big cake. After eating, Logan left, so it was just us chilling in the living room.

"Hey, Mik. Can you take us on a photoshoot today since its our first day back?" Zach asked motioning to the band.

I nodded, "Go get ready, then we'll leave."

The boys rushed off while I grabbed my camera and Nike hoodie. I walked back downstairs and sat with my siblings. I missed them a lot. Skylar said they had fun with 'Uncle Logan.' Logan told me that it was actually pretty fun with them, he said he would do it again if the offer came up. I was really happy they had a good time but I still missed them. I've never really been away from Casey long distance so it was kind of hard for me.

My thoughts were interrupted by something tumbling down the stairs. I quickly turned around in time to see Zach land on the floor with a thud. The rest of the boys came down laughing their butts off.

I sighed, "Who pushed him? And I want an honest answer."

Through laughing Jack said, "He tripped over Jonah's sweatshirt at the top, I swear!"

Zach got up, "Pick up your stuff Jonah. Save me a trip to the hospital."

We all just laughed and loaded up. We drove for a little while listening to Ed Sheeran, until Jonah pulled up to a beach. While getting out, Corbyn started rapping about math and Daniel started signing random parts of their songs. I laughed and followed Jonah to a rocky part.

"I found this spot awhile ago. I like it and thought maybe we could do it here?" He asked.

I nodded in agreement, "I like it too and it's the perfect time of day. We'll get a band picture before singles and stuff. Hurry up."

The boys rushed into their spots and put on stone cold faces. I took a couple and checked over them. Then, Jonah and Corbyn pushed the other boys out of the photo. I laughed and took a few of them too. Then, I got Jack and Zach, Daniel and Jonah, Daniel and Jack, and Zach and Jonah. Lastly, I did singles.

The boys were content with the pictures so we loaded up and headed to the next spot. We were practically in the middle of LA.  There was a lot of fans around and they started crowding the guys and I.

I started getting claustrophobic and short of breath. Then, I realized I was hyperventilating with the boys nowhere in sight. I tried taking deep breaths but I couldn't seem to find the air. I kept searching for the boys when I felt lightheaded, it was near sunset and that meant I needed to find them, quick. I pushed my way through people until I felt someone grab my arm. I turned around only to come face to face with Daniel.

"The boys said they'll meet us at the car! They sent me to look for you! Let's go!" He shouted over the fan's screaming.

Daniel put his arm around me protectively, then started moving through the crowd. I finally started to catch my breath and the dizziness went away. I caught sight of the car finally. He pulled me to the car and opened the door. I was yanked in the backseat by Jack.

"Hey, you okay?" Corbyn asked from the front. I just nodded in response.

I sat by the window and just stared out into the streets as we were driving. I couldn't help but wonder what I would've done without Daniel finding me. I would have for sure passed out.

The boys put on some music, but my thoughts drowned it out. The only sounds heard in the car are our breathing and the music.

I looked into the rearview mirror in time to see Jonah look back at me. I smiled at him, he smiled back. I averted my eyes to look out the window. But I shouldn't have. I was just in time to see a car swerving out of control, attempting to stop. That was the last thing I saw before my screams were cut off by darkness.
