"Spider-Man." the mysterious figure called.

"That's the name!" he called back.

"You said that you would help me... said that you were counting on me..." the figure said.

"I did?" Peter asked before a thought crossed his mind. "Wait. I know you. You're Max Dillon!" he recalled.

Rainbow looked at her partner. "You KNOW this guy?"

"Yeah. I helped him out during Ludo's attack on Oscorp. Asked him to help get the people up and outta there." he explained to her before directing his attention back to Max. "Hey there Max buddy! You're kinda scaring people here."

"Don't talk to me like we're friends!" Max boomed, causing the three heroes to flinch. "You let them do this to me!"

"Let who do what Max?"

"Doesn't matter anymore. They said I can see the light out of this darkness if I bring you in." The former electrician charged blue bolts in his hand. "And it's not Max Dillon anymore, call me... Electro." He fired off a blast of electricity towards the three. Quick on his reflexes, Spider-Man webbed up a manhole and threw it through the blast, dispersing it.

Electro shot multiple bolts, and Rainbow put up a bubble shield to protect her and her friends. He continued the assault regardless.

"Wow Pete. Excellent 'friend' you got here." Miles said.

"I think he's sick is all. There's got to be a way to help him." Peter defended.

Star grunted. "Whatever we're doing, can we decide fast? Can't keep this thing up for much longer!"

Spidey put a finger to his chin. "He's a being seemingly made of pure electricity. Our regular punches and kicks will probably hurt us more than him. Which means..." He looked to his partner. "Star, Miles and I will try to wrap him up in webbing. This'll all come down on whether you two conduct him or overload him using electricity."

"In other words, my Venom blast and whatever magic she uses?" Kid Arachnid assessed.

A crack appeared over the dome. "Alright. Let's show em how it's done team!" she said.

"Okay. Break!" The bubble shield shattered and the three jumped out of the incoming danger. Spider-Man ran up the left side. "I don't want to do this Electro, but you're not helping me charge my cell phone." he joked before firing an array of webbing.

The being swerved left and right to avoid it before being hit by Kid Arachnid from the right. "You know your jokes are horrible right?" Miles deadpanned.

As the webbing began to encase him, Max's eyes went wide. "No, I won't ever be in the dark. Never again!" he yelled before bursting, sending out an electric field that shocked the heroes.

"Gah!" the three said. When the field passed by, power was restored in the area.

Peter coughed. "Bet Thor doesn't have to deal with this... I'll have bed head for a month." he said.

"Ugh. Tell me about it." Rainbow said while getting up. Her long blonde hair was now frizzed up in more like an afro. The boys tried their best to hold their laughter in, but even with the masks, Star noticed it. "What?"

Spidey chocked it down. "Nothing. I'll help you out when we get home. We have to find this guy."

"But where?" she asked. "Aren't there, like, a bajillion places in this city?"

Miles perked his head up at an odd sound and looked down the street. "How bout the giant blue light piercing through the heavens." he pointed out. The other two looked where he was looking and saw a pillar of blue light shooting from the top of a building blocks away.

"Ah, a generator... of course." Peter groaned.

The three made their way to the roofs and found Electro absorbing the power from a generator.

"Sorry to ruin snack time, but this ends here Electro!" Spider-Man shot a webline at the villain's back and yanked him away.

"No!" Max cried.

"Shocking, isn't it?" Spider-Man quipped.

Kid Arachnid charged up a Venom blast and uppercutted Electro. The attack made the latter slightly larger. "You fool! You're only making me stronger!"

Rainbow Witch held out her scepter as it charged power. "Kinda the plan Sparky." she taunted. "Rolling Thunder Lightning Blast!" Streams of lightning shot out from her wand and Electro absorbed it, growing in size by the second.

"Yes! More!" Max's voice boomed.

Mile's masked lens went up in worry. "Uh Pete. You better have a plan."

"Oh I have a plan." He attached two weblines to a water tower and pulled, muscles straining. "Hey Electro! Have a drink!" He successfully toppled the storage tank, and water fell all over Electro.

The villain started to sizzle under the water. "No!" he yelled as his voice was drowned out. He returned to normal size and took on more human-like flesh.

Spider-Man jumped up for the intercept. "Lights out Electro!" he quipped before punching him unconscious. Rainbow magic'd up a bounce house for Max to fall in.

The three left Max at ground level for custody. The police were securing the scene when they walked off.

"I think we did good today guys." Peter said before turning to Miles on his left. "Sorry you couldn't have had a more relaxing first go with us."

"Nah that was awesome! Besides, you're in super heroics to stop baddies like this right?"

Star pumped her arms. "Yeah we do! But it can be sooo tiring sometimes. I'm ready to grab some foo-" she said before they passed by a glass window. She examined herself for the first time as the other two kept walking. She screamed so loud, the windows nearly just about shattered.

The boys took their hands off their ears and turned around. "Uh Rainbow. You alright back there?" Peter asked.

"My hair! You didn't tell me about this?!" she exclaimed.

Miles chuckled. "It's no big deal right? You can magic it up back to normal can't you?"

Star turned back to them glaring. "That's not the point! Gosh, I could kill you both!"

Spider-Man and Kid Arachnid both put their hands up and backed up slowly. "I've seen that look in her eyes before..." Pete said. He quickly turned around and shot a webline. "Run!"

Miles wasted no time following his friend's example and got out of there with Rainbow in pursuit.

At Oscorp, Norman watched the Electro event unfold on television from his office. "So he couldn't do it after all. Not surprising." He turned off the TV and pressed a button on his corporate phone.

"Yes Mr. Osborn?" Dr. Octavius asked on the other side.

"Otto, it's your turn. Give Spider-Man and his friends a better challenge. I want that hero."

The scientist darkly chuckled. "Right away sir." he said before ending the call. He took off his vest to release his four extra arms. "Yes my pets. It's time to show the world what Doctor Octopus can do!" he declared and his top two mechanical arms clapped twice.
