After dinner, the two met back in Peter's room. Parker in his heroic attire, minus the mask, stood with Star at his side by the window.

"Alright. May has a curfew for us at 10." Peter said as he looked at his watch. It read 9:04. "That gives us about an hour." He lets out a chuckle. "So you got any transportation spell or something?"

Star put her finger to her chin as she registered his question. "I dunno. Let's see." She lifts the window and points her wand outside. "Cotton Candy Cloud!" She creates a pink cloud and hops right on it and sits, defying the laws of science as Peter knew them. "What are we waiting for? C'mon let's go!" she said excitedly as she flew upwards on her cloud. Pete shook his head in disbelief as he slips his mask on. "I will never get used to this." he said and swings outside after her.

It took the pair about ten minutes to get into Manhattan and find Peter's place of interest- the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier.

"Whoa... I didn't know buildings can fly!" Star said in awe. Spider-Man landed on the building next to her in his signature crouch. "Are you sure Earth doesn't have magic?" she asked. Spider-Man shook his head. "Not as far as I know. Just science and technology." he explained looking up at the mobile base. "Now I gotta find a way up there."

Spider-Man crawled up the tallest building in the area. Once he did that, he moved to the back of the roof to get a running start. He sprinted across and bounded as high as he could, and Star flew up after him. Before he could reach the highest point of his jump, Peter lifted his arm to fire a web line at the hull of the flying fortress.

"Please work." the webslinger asked in silent prayer as he shot out a web. Unfortunately, he was just shy a few feet and the webbing began its descent by gravity. "Aw breadcrumbs..." he said before falling as well. Star notices this and gasps.

"Spider-Man! Um. Errr. Raspberry Ribbon Lasso!" A ribbon of light shoots from the princess' wand and it latches to Peter's ankle and halts his descent. However, he wasn't done screaming.

"WAAHHH!" he continued while flailing his arms before realizing he wasn't street pizza yet. He looked at the string holding him up and followed it to Star. She gave him a wave before flying up to the carrier with him in tow. Both heroes landed on the plane dock and Star's cloud disappeared.

"You know," Spidey started, "I should thank you, but I should be totally dead by now." he finished in a nonchalant tone.

"Oh don't be like that." Star said, playfully punching her friend's arm. "I totally had you!"

"That's what I'm worried about. Statistically speaking, a magical trainee making 3 successful, non destructive spells in a row is too good to be true. I'm just waiting for the Parker luck to strike me down."

"We made it here didn't we?" she countered with a brow raised. "Now let's go!" she exclaimed as she turned around to explore the carrier. However, Peter's sixth sense blared. "Star! Get down!" he said pushing Star away as he back-flipped away from a blue laser. They both turned to see a turret open fire on them. Star scrambled for cover, while Peter dodged the bullets by contorting his body. Then he fired webbing to jam the turret.

Star climbed to her feet and brushed her dress down. "See. How hard was that?" she said. In the next moment, turrets surrounded them from every conceivable angle and targeted them. Both heroes eyes went wide. "Superhero 101. Never say anything along those lines." the veteran hero said. They braced themselves to react when the turrets suddenly went offline and retracted back into the ship.

"Glad to see you've changed your mind Spider-Man. But I think you could've done better than sneaking onto the most secured place on the planet." Nick Fury said as he approached the two.

"Nice to see you have a VIP red carpet Nicky. Any other surprises you have for me?" Peter sarcastically asked.

"Hardly." Fury eyes Star suspiciously. "Who's the new girl Parker?"

Star gasps at the mention of her friend's name. "He knows who you are?" she asked as she looks at Peter with worry. "Who is this guy?"

Spider-Man smacked his head and then removed his mask. "Ah introductions. Where are my manners." He looked to Star and pointed to Fury. "Star, this is Nick Fury. Super spy, and the director of the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division, or S.H.I.E.L.D for short. That's how he knows my secret identity." He then in turn looks to the director and points to the shorter girl. "Nick, this is Star Butterfly. Magical alien princess from another dimension who so happens to live at my place as of like 4 hours ago." he explained.

"Hello!" Star said with a wave. "Magic alien huh. Why'd you bring her aboard this ship?" Fury inquired.

"Because I-No; we need help to become better heroes. And who better than you?" The super spy didn't respond immediately as he was taking in all the information he was just given.

"Very well. You start tomorrow. Be here after school." he said before turning to head inside, leaving the two young heroes alone.

Star was the first to speak up. "That is awesome! Oh and Peter, thanks for the save, but how'd you do that?"

Peter just waved it off as if it were nothing. "Don't mention it. It's one of my powers. I have an extra sixth sense that warns me of danger. I call it the 'Spider Sense'."

She grinned wildly and nodded. "That is such a cool power. So can you like see into the future or something?" she said putting her hands as circles around her eyes. Pete laughed in response. "No, not quite a wizard like you are. Now c'mon. Let's get back before Aunt May notices we left." The girl nodded in agreement and the two ventured home for the night.
