The Avengers and the Wakandan army made their way to the fields. They lined up in ranks even as the alien vessels touched ground behind the barrier protecting the city. There Captain America ran into a familiar face. He had long brown hair, a blue vest, green army pants, but most noticeable was his metallic left arm.

"Bucky?" Cap said before the two shared a brotherly-like hug.

"Sup Steve." Bucky Barnes, the former Winter Soldier and now known as "White Wolf" to the Wakandan natives, greeted.

"Been a while buddy. You sure you're up for this?" Steve asked.

Bucky shrugged. "As ready as a semi-stable one hundred year old man can be."

The two smiled at each other before Spider-Man popped up between them. "You have a metal arm? That is awesome dude!" he said as he closely examined White Wolf's arm.

Feeling slightly uncomfortable, Bucky pulled his enhanced arm away. "Thanks... T'Challa made it for me while I rehabilitated." he told Miles before turning to his oldest friend. "You know this kid Steve?"

"Simple answer is not really. But Tony seems to believe in these kid's abilities. I see no reason not to either."

The young hero shrugged. "You're giving me WAY too much credit. Deep down, you probably have your doubts."

Cap put his hand on his shoulder. "You're young, of course I have my concerns. However, just like me, you're standing here preparing to defend the Earth no matter the threat. That is enough for me to put my belief in you."

The cynical side of Miles wanted to rebut that point, but Black Panther approached the three before he could do so. "Captain. They are here and at the border."

"Alright. Go time." He looked to Miles and Bucky. "You two stay here." Afterwards, Steve and T'Challa made their way towards the barrier.

Spider-Man blinked. "Greaaat."

The single female of Thanos's Black Order awaited outside the city's border. The blue haired woman skimmed her sword against the barrier and scowled upon seeing she couldn't get through. Steve and T'Challa approached.

"Thanos will have that stone." she declared, referring to the Mind stone.

After a brief moment of silence, Cap spoke. "That's not gonna happen."

"You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood." the King taunted.

The alien glared at the two. "We... have blood to spare." she stated and raised her sword into the air. On cue, several large vessels began to vertically open from the ground.

Everyone watched in silent anticipation as Cap and T'Challa moved back to join them. Steve fell back in line next to Bucky and Miles. "Did they surrender?" Barnes sarcastically asked.

Without looking at him, the sentinel of liberty replied. "Not exactly."

The king of Wakanda took his place in front of his small army and small group of Avengers. From the forests, large hordes of human sized aliens known as the Outriders began to quickly approach the protective barrier. T'Challa forced down the lump in his throat. "YIBAMBE!" he cried and his army repeated while stomping their spears on the ground. "YIBAMBE!" he cried once more, earning the same response.

Outriders began to slam into the force field in a desperate frenzy to get through. While some did, they were mostly cut apart and killed. Okoye raised her brow. "They're killing themselves."

After several moments, some began to successfully make it through. Those on the front line pulled their capes across their body and blue energy shields appeared in front of them. More and more Outriders have broken through and those with long range weapons such as White Wolf, and Wakandans with spears that shot blue energy blasts began to fire on the invaders.
