Later that night at the Parker household, Pete and Star had gotten home and had dinner. Star was practically bouncing off the walls of Peter's room from the sugar she had consumed. The boy was working on finishing her costume in hopes that she'd calm down soon, but his sixth sense was telling him otherwise.
"Maybe churros wasn't such a good idea." Pete grumbled as he briefly returned his attention to the sugar high alien. At that moment, Star ran past him accidentally smacking his face with her hair, giving the latter and mouthful of blond. "Do you think-pffht- do you think maybe you can settle down and go to sleep so I can finish?" he asked exhaustively before pulling a strand of hair from his mouth.
Star hopped onto his bed and started jumping on it. "No, cause I want to help!" she answered. "Great help you are." Peter deadpanned, earning a frown from the princess.
Suddenly, a tear in reality appeared next to Peter. He let out a scream in response and scrambled to the corner of his room. Unlike him, Star whooped in delight around the thing that emerged from the portal.
"Peter? Star? Is everything alright up there?" Aunt May called from downstairs. "Y-yeah. We're fine May." her nephew answered. Pete finally got a look at what just intruded his bedroom. "You're a... floating unicorn head." he choked out.
The head spun around, eyebrow cocked, and snorted. "Better believe it buddy." it... she? said in a diva like accent. Peter slowly held up his hands, and approached the girls just as slow. "Got it. Totally am not getting headless horseman vibe here."
"Say again?" she asked in a low voice. Behind her, Star was dramatically slashing a hand over her throat, eyes wide and teeth gritted. Peter lifted his eyes away from the empty space under the "guests" neck and offered a weak smile. "Where'sss your dimension?"
They squinted at him suspiciously but didn't question him, nostrils flaring with displeasure. "Near Star's. Who are you, exactly?"
"Peter Parker. Star's living with me and my aunt while she's here on Earth. Who are you? he asked politely.
The head snorted like he should've already known her. "Princess Pony Head."
Peter bit back the comment on why it wasn't "Floating Unicorn" and nodded knowingly. "Star's mentioned you once or twice. Nice to uh... nice to meet you."
"I bet it is. Now, for the actual reason I'm here." Pony Head huffed, spinning to Star grinning. "The Bounce Lounge is having one of their raves tonight, and girl we are GOING!"
Star brightened, hands lifting to clasp underneath her chin in delight. "Ohmygosh, are you serious? I loooovvveee the Bounce Lounge!"
Peter found his way to his workdesk with the costume and sat in his chair, brow raised. "What's a Bounce Lounge?"
Pony Head scoffed. "Uh, only the best and coolest night club in the whole entire galaxy, duh!" She shook her mane in irritation and turned to glance to Star. "Are we bringing Earth Boy here with us?"
Star gave Pony Head the puppy dog look. "Aw, come on Pony, let him come. He needs to learn how to have a little fun."she pleaded while shooting Pete a meaningful look.
The teen by this point has had enough. He walked over to the window and lifted it up. He then lifted up his shirt just enough to reveal his costume so only Star could make sense of it. "Sorry, but I'll pass. You girls have your fun, but I got things to do. You know how it is." he said turning back to the window. Before he could hop out, Star had grabbed his right arm.
"Oh no you don't. YOU are coming with US." she demanded with a glare. Peter stared back, and after a long moment, he let out a sigh of defeat. "Fine." he said. Star's smile had returned in full. "Thank you. Now let's go!"
Pony Head smirked, and stuck out her creepily long tongue to reveal a pair of scissors. Star took it without hesitation, causing Peter to gag internally at the trail of saliva.
"Dimensional scissors!" Star squealed, bouncing around the room once more then pulling her BFF to a hug. "I haven't seen these in agessss. Where did you get them?"
Pony Head smirked. "I have my ways girl. Now are we going or what?" "Um, duh!" Star answered.
Peter watched in disgusted fascination as Pony Head used her tongue to snatch the scissors and use them to open another portal. "Will this day just end?" he asked. Pony Head then vanished through. He glanced to Star afterwards. "Are we actually going to-" "Let's go!"
Star grabbed his wrist and yanked him through. Inter-dimensional travel was nothing like he expected. He prepared to feel like he was going to be ripped apart or something. Instead, it was pretty simple, like walking through a door. And on the other side was the fluffiest, darkest, and simultaneously most colorful room that he had ever seen in his life. "Toto... I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore..." he said to no one in particular.
