Amidst the chaos, Star and the monster called Ludo stared each other down. Curiously, Peter could hear the conversation between the two.

"A little far from home, aren't you princess?" the nasally sounding monster said. Star huffed more unimpressed if anything. "Good job. Now what do you want Ludo"

"Isn't it obvious? I think I've made it clear every time I see you that I want the wand." Ludo answered. "Every time huh?" Peter thought while putting on his mask, suit already on. "Wonder how long these two have been at this."

"Yeah whatever. We doing this or what?" Star deadpanned. "Get her!" Ludo commanded his fellow monsters, and that was all Peter needed to hear to jump on scene.

Spider-Man landed in front of Star and held out his left palm in a stop fashion. "Hold on boys and girls. Or is it monsters and girl. Either way, don't start the party without me."

Ludo cocked a brow at the costumed hero. "Who the heck are you supposed to be?" Peter finally got a good look at the presumed leader of the army. He was much tinier and less intimidating than he expected. And uglier. "Dude. You're seriously asking ME that question? You look like an old, wrinkled avocado bred with an older, more wrinkled avocado with a face, beak, and beard."

All the monsters and Star cracked up at the insult at Ludo's expense, which only infuriated him. "Hey the rest of you better hold up on the laughing. He's not the only genetic experimentation here gone wrong." The wallcrawler then shot a web line at a flabby brown monster in front of him. "Oh. And Spider-Man's the name. Quipping and beating baddies is my game!" he chimed before yanking the thread, sending the monster into three others beside it.

The fight was on. Ludo retreated behind his gathering of monsters. Star started narwhal blasting monsters at a distance, while Spider-Man took a more direct approach, knocking out monsters in a mere few hits. "Star was right. This is easy." Peter said as he webbed a monster to a table.

From behind his dwindling army, Ludo looked to the same monster who was spying on the two insect based heroes the night before. "I thought you said she was unguarded?!" The frog looking beast gave out an annoyed grunt when suddenly a bowl of mashed potatoes hit him square in the face. He paused to lick at it, only to gag soon after. He then looked up to see Spidey with two more trays in his hands.

"Hey, I don't know if you Mewnians-" "Mewmans!" Star corrected him. "Mewmans... have these where you're from, but..." Peter said as he pulled his right arm back. "FOOD FIGHT!" he yelled before throwing the food, nailing two monsters in the face.

Star grinned widely and picked up a tray too. "Ooh. Looks fun!" The fight only lasted a few minutes, and most monsters were beat up. Ludo had opened a swirly vortex out of nowhere by cutting air with... scissors? The monsters began to limp through the distorted space.

"If only you losers could fight as well as you run away, maybe we could actually win!" Ludo yelled as he kicked a chicken-like monster through. Spider-Man flipped over a table and landed beside the Butterfly and watched the scene with a brow raised behind the mask.

"What's that?" he asked. "That? Portal to another dimension. I soo wish I could take you on a trip to some of my favorite places." the alien informed him. Peter's mask lenses blinked as he turned back to the monsters final retreat and the portal closed. "Magic's weird." he said. Star frowned at the comment and glanced at him in a huff. "Says the guy with spider powers." she retorted. Peter nodded without even looking. "Touche"

Star stuck her tonguue out at him when Spidey finally faced her. She retracted her tongue and smiled sheepishly, but Peter payed it no mind. "I got to change and make sure everything is ok. You make sure no one knows you were helping Spider-Man and-"

"And let you have all the credit?" Star asked incredulously. "Come on." she said with a brow raised. Pete shook his head at the accusation. "You think I'm in this for the glory? I'm doing this to PROTECT you. Besides, I'm branded enough of a menace as is." he informed her.

Star's expression softened after hearing that."Menace? What do you mean?" Peter let out a low sigh and grabbed his backpack. "You'll see soon." he said. With that, he swung out through a side door and people started to file back in through the main. Star ignored the commotion as she was thinking. "Wow. He sure is different from the knights back at home. Why is that? He says he doesn't do it for the glory. Doesn't seem to be mad and stuff for revenge. Not even the chance of reward. Okay now I got to know! What was it he said this morning? 'With great power must come great responsibility.' What does that even mean?!"

Star shook her head to clear her thoughts. "Question for later." she said as she was approached by Harry and Janna.
