Chapter 24

Zshana's rubbing her eyes as she went out of the car. Kakagising lamang niya and she still feels like her soul is not with her just yet.

Napalingon lamang siya nang mayroong umakbay sa kaniya.

"Let's go inside. You can continue resting in my office if you want." Lexious said with a smile pero umiling lang siya.

"I think I had enough rest." Sambit niya sa binata na nagsimula nang maglakad kaya naman nagpatianod siya.

A lot of eyes landed on them as they entered the building. Hindi iyon masyadong napansin ni Zshana sa kadahilanang kagigising lamang niya at sa totoo lang ay medyo inaantok pa siya.

She feels tired and she doesn't even know why. Nakatulog na naman siya sa byahe and the flight from Japan to the Philippines wasn't even that long and tiring.

"Lex." Her voice was soft as she called Lexious's name.

Si Lexious naman ay napatingin kay Zshana na deretso lamang ang tingin nang tawagin siya nito.

"Hmm." He hummed as he returned his gaze in front.

They stopped in front of the door of the elevator and waited for it to arrive.

"Nothing. I just want to say your name." Zshana said and Lexious's heart almost did a somersault.

Inalis ng binata ang kamay nito na nakaakbay sa balikat ni Zshana. He then moved to Zshana's back and hugged her from behind.

"Do you really need to make my heart beat so darn fast every time?" Lexious asked and Zshana chuckled.

"That was never my intention though. I'm just being honest here." Zshana refuted and that put a smile on Lexious's face.

Paano na ang puso niya kaya pinlano ni Zshana na pakiligin siya. Baka himatayin na siya sa sobrang kilig kapag nagkataon.

"Lex." Zshana called his name again kaya naman ipinatong niya ang baba sa balikat ng kasintahan.

"Yes sweetheart?" He asked as he hugged her waist tighter.

Wala siyang pakialam sa mga empleyado niyang makakakita sa kaniya. He's gonna spoil his woman with love and loyalty, and no one could stop him from doing that.

"Can I hold your hand?" She asked kaya naman si Lexious na mismo ang humawak sa kamay ng kasintahan habang nakayakap siya mula sa likod nito.

The door of the elevator opened and he saw on how his employees' faces were when they saw him in that state. Humiwalay naman siya ng pagkakayakap kay Zshana at hinawakan ang kamay nito bago pumasok sa elevator nang makalabas ang sakay niyon.

The other employees didn't dare to ride the elevator with them kaya naman napangiti siya.

"Lex." Zshana called his name again kaya naman hinarap na niya ang kasintahan at sinapo ang mukha nito.

"Is there something wrong sweetheart?" He asked.

Sumimangot naman si Zshana sa kaniya.

"I'm just calling your name may mali agad? Don't you want me doing that?" Zshana asked kaya naman umiling siya kaagad.

"No its fine. I love it actually. Nagtataka lang naman ako." Aniya at hinalikan ang tungki ng ilong nito which made her chuckle softly.

Naging tahimik silang dalawa sa loob ng elevator matapos noon. Lexious just held Zshana's hand while she just stood beside him. She didn't utter another word as they waited for the door of the elevator to open.

Pagkabukas nito sa top floor ay kaagad silang lumabas doon ni Lexious. They entered a black door and a very spacious office entered Zshana's sight.
