With the recent events that caused the utmost mixed emotions to have become stitched to me. however with the important moments of today i had suppressed it. the smile on my face when my eyes meet ethan's. his button down and loosened tie that hanged from his neck. the uniformed, red graduation gown fitting him perfectly. his attire was extremely admirable and i'm sure he was aware of that from what my facial features portrayed. ethan picks me up gracefully and spins me around when he nears me.
the front door still open and the sun shining with such warmth. my laughs being evident and i am able to gaze at the boy who possesses a happy grin. "we're graduating today!" he says with his voice laced with contentment and pure excitement.
i only nod and still chuckle softly as he finally puts me down and then kisses the side of my head. he notices my father who begins to walk down the stairs and finally goes inside to greet him. "hello, mr. lune."
"i told you to call me jim, ethan. i'm well acquainted with you already." my father states and ethan smiles. he apologizes and as he does, my father's eyes go to me. my attire being similar to ethan's only i did not hold my graduation cap on my hand but it was placed on my head.
i knew of my strands of darkened hair was curled and the heels i wore elevated my height. the dress i wear being of simple fabrics however an intricate pattern. "you look stunning, sweetheart." my father says and a small blush paints onto my cheeks.

"thank you, dad." when i say this as i notice the small tears that fall down his face with the soft smile caught onto his mouth. "oh, dad. don't cry or else i'm going to cry." i say with a soft laugh and he does the same when he begins to wipe his eye. i embrace my father in a tight hug and he wipes his back when i do.
"i'm sorry. it's just i can't believe you're graduating high school. you're not my little girl anymore and it's unbelievable." his words cause the sudden sadness to fill me up. they were filled with love and sentimental meaning and for that it made my eyes water up as well.
"you guys are crying already? we haven't made it to the ceremony yet." jude's voice speaks up and i can hear him come down the steps where he wears dress pants and button down tucked in to his waist. i only shake my head and pull apart from my father. jude sighs and looks me up and down.
"holy shit, i'm getting old."
"you're getting old? imagine me!" my father remarks and i smile as ethan comes closer to then wrap an arm around my waist.
"hey jude." he greets and my brother's vision shifts to the boy who's body is close to mine. he now holds a faint grin.
"hey, ethan. ready to graduate?" ethan chuckles then nods.
"yes, very much." he states and i can only agree as i look at my phone to check the time.
"alright we should start heading there now. they said we had to be there at five." i inform and they all oblige as they start to retrieve the things they need. i had all of my items together as ethan and i wait outside. i take the graduation cap from his hand and tell him to lean down a little so i am able to place it on his head. "i would be lying if i didn't say how attractive you look right now." i voice and ethan smirks.
