Dorm Assignments=Time to Strike

The fog cleared from the capsule. Now, he was able to see her clearly. Her dark red hair covered her hazel eyes halfway. The capsule opened, and she safely levitated down to the ground and opened her eyes, crawled out of the capsule, and sat down looking at the man innocently.
"Aboo~" the toddler said and started reaching out its arms towards the scientist. The scientists ran towards the baby and picked her up.
"Happy birthday sweetie." the scientist said. Not because this was her first moments out of her capsule and it was like another birthday, but because today was her legitimate birthday, as shown by her birth certificate.

Today dorms are being assigned, which I'm happy about. Here's why: if I can try to be assigned into the same room as Yavara, that means I can get an inside look on what she does when lights out time comes, what she eats (if Humaverans DO eat), and creepily enough, what she does in the bathroom that supposedly takes her so long (that's what my friend said she heard). I can get a complete inside look on her life outside of classes. This means I can really find out if I'm right or wrong. Hey, maybe I can even get a look at her class schedule. All I have to do is wait when the dorm sign up sheets come around and put my name right next to her's and bingo!

  "Verlynn, you have this mischievous smile on your face. What're you up to?" Maj (MAH•J),my best friend, asks.
  "Nothing...all you need to know is dorm assignments equals time to strike." I say, biting my index fingernail and walking away. Maj stood there and looks at me curious.

  Maj ran to catch up with me as I walked towards the dorm assignments form hanging on the school board in the cafeteria. I looked through all 40 sheets of dorm options and didn't find Yavara's name ANYWHERE. How does she get her dorms? All the higher rooms are taken as soon as an hour of the sheet being up passes! Is her room reserved? Is her room purposefully not on the paper because it's reserved JUST for her? Is she really that dangerous? My question is immediately answered.

  "HEL-LO students! One of our top students are looking for a dorm mate! An exotic find since they were reserved to stay alone! Who'd like to be their room mate?"  A dorm advisor says. Would you look at that? There're different dorm advisors for different parts of the school. The dorm advisor who announced this was dorm advisor E, the same dorm building Yavara sleeps in. Everyone raised their hand in hopes of being chosen. I raise my hand up before he gets a chance to choose someone.

  "Hmm lets see, you! I choose you, young lady in the black uniform shirt and skirt next to the tall, tan redhead!" everyone knew the tall, tan redhead was Maj. Maj was known for his ridiculously red hair and freckles and I am the only person next to Maj. Maj high-fives me and congratulates me. I smile back at him, not because I was being nice, but because I'm in the verge of finding out news that can change the world.
