So, I thought the last chapter's description of what the mom is wasn't very good, so I wanted to take this chapter and dedicate it to the purpose of explaining what an Angelikan is.
An Angelikan is someone who failed to become Humaveran when the experiment was done. Angelikans also failed to stay human after the experiment. Instead, Angelikans became much more powerful than a Humaveran, possessing abilities much like Humaverans such as enhanced hearing, enhanced sight, and enhanced smells, but instead, these abilities were more advanced than Humaverans'. Angelikans also, most of the time, are very observant. Sometimes, rarely, an Angelikan can become famous and still be accepted into society even though they're not human.
Angelikans are considered to be dangerous since their reflexes are faster than humans' and Humaverans'. If they wanted to, an Angelikan could go rogue and it'd be hard for anybody to catch them. Angelikans also have visions much like Humaverans, so really they can easily blend in. Angelikans, though, are said to be extinct, so the idea that Ravamara and them think that their mom is Angelikan is a BIG thing. Of course, as you can see, they're not 100% sure of that. Of course, Angelikans had to start from somewhere. When Varvel Vel-Merr was experimenting on turning people Humaveran, someone failed somehow but succeeded in being stronger than the rest, their reflexes were faster and stronger than anyone else's, this is how Angelikans came to be. Varvel kept experimenting and found another person who also failed the test but became Angelikan too. They possessed abnormal potential in succeeding more than the others at helping people, which was the original purpose of Humaverans. The day when Angelikans were created is known as "Le Jour Des Anges" or "The Angels Day".
The government is yet to realize what they actually are. The government thinks it's just Humaverans and is still after regular Humaverans. This is a little info that can help you understand Angelikans a little more. Also, let's say I'm writing a blast in the past (AKA the bolded text at the beginning of a chapter that appears before asterisks, which takes you to the story) and I'm trying to describe a mother talking to her daughter and instead of straight out saying mother, I say woman, do NOT take that into account that woman means that she isn't the mother because I didn't say mother. In some cases I may say one or the other. Don't be confused, and if some of you are wondering why I'm telling you this, this is because I really wish to see someone get part of the lore right and I don't want to confuse you. Oh! Also, just like Humaverans, Angelikans most definitely aren't allowed in Apermae Academy.
