Quick Author's Note

Alright, I'm sorry for making another one of these author's note chapters, but it's gonna be really quick this time I promise. Okay? Okay. So I just wanted to let you guys know in the blast in the past with the little girl saying "Daddy won't let me go, not even for a second." "Let me go" does NOT refer to dying. This simply states that the little girl is somewhat clingy. She said this because she doesn't want to go see the other doctors. She doesn't want her father to let her go and have the doctors help. The little girl insists that her father can do it, can fix her, and doesn't want anyone else's help. Well, that is, except for two special people. Two people I can not reveal yet and I want you to find out on your own. I also decided to give out a second teaser for the second book.
Emilens. That's what they're called. The people with gold eyes. Supposedly it's a legend, a rumor, but why would France protect a rumor? Why would France come out on live TV airing all across Europe and say that Emilens are to be protected by the government. So are Amerivans, Angelikans, and Humaverans. Gold eyes are pretty. They're different. Unique. Better than hazel eyes.
Then there's mom. Mom, mom, mom. Hiding secrets like what's in the basement and such. She says it's nothing. Just a lab. I know it's a lie, though. Something's in the basement that she doesn't want us to see, want us to know. She's always flying out to France. Specifically Paris. Almost never anywhere else. She always stays for 1 week to, at most, 2 months. The question we've all had is why? Why's she traveling there? She's been traveling there since my earliest memories when I was three. I'm serious. My first memory was of me and her playing a game of tag, my second of me and her reading a book together, my third of us baking together, and my fourth of me and her traveling to France. Just for the weekend though. Any more and I would've gotten homesick. Would've started to miss dad. Would've started to miss father. When I got old enough to stay behind with a friend, she always threatened me with these seven or eight words. "Remember, I'll find out with the truth serum.". Then, she would leave. That scared me a lot when I was younger. Now, looking back at it, I realize it was just a lie. Just like practically everything she's ever told me. Like when she lied about #%¥£*$ being my sister. I knew she was lying. I heard her talking about it to someone. I could see it in her facial expression. The only thing she told the truth about were my powers. I don't get it. Why would she lie if she knew I'd find out eventually? You know what I just realized? Even her supposed "name" was a lie. Then, it snaps in my head. Her name. Her real name. Her real name is probably the reason she's going to France. She could be someone important or something. If I can just figure out her real name, maybe I can trigger something inside of her. Make her tell us. I'm ready, ***her. And I'm out to find out you're real name. I just might blow this case wide open.
That's the end, I just came up with this off the top of my head. See you guys later! Oh! Wait! I just want to make it clear as day to you guys that in the blast in the past where it said "Daddy won't let me go. Not even for a second." That "let me go" doesn't mean what you think it means. I know I've said this already but I'm just emphasizing it. Instead, it means that the little girl does not trust anyone  who isn't her "father" to help her. She doesn't want to be helped by anyone else because the little girl is somewhat clingy. She doesn't trust that others will do it right. She only trusts her "father". Also, in the blast in the past where the mother gave the little girl a shot, that doesn't mean what you think it means, either. So you can understand, let me tell you what happened BEFORE that blast in the past. What happened before that is that the little girl didn't look well and they needed to see what was wrong. Funny enough, the little girl in that situation didn't trust them either. SPOILER: They're not the same person. Sorry if I bursted anyone's bubble. There was no way on Earth for the doctors to preform the checkup without her asleep because, by their reactions, she could be able to decipher that something's wrong and run, and that's the last thing they need. So, to prevent this, they gave the little girl's mother a shot to give her. The mother was instructed to give her the shot lying down and forgot to do so, causing what happened to the little girl to happen. The little girl is perfectly fine. The medicine worked, it just didn't flow through as smoothly. The mother, before that, promised that the medicine would make it easier for her to sleep, which is why she says "See, why would I lie to someone I love.". Sorry if I bursted anyone's bubble, just wanted to clear that up. Anyways, see you later!
