Eavesdropping

  ***NOTE: The incident involving Yavara's name was on accident. I didn't know that's what it means when I came up with the name. Don't be mad please :| —Author.
"Sweetheart, I love you. That's why I'm doing this. I'm doing this to protect you. I'm doing this because I love you." the woman said.
"Will it hurt?" the child asked.
"Not even a little bit." the woman answered. The child loved the woman. If the woman loved her too, why would she lie to her? Why would she hurt her? The child trusted the woman, rolled up her sleeve, and stuck out her arm. The woman rubbed the alcohol wipe on the spot she was going to inject.
"See, there we go..." the woman said softly, giving the child the shot. The child tried to say that it didn't hurt much, but her throat went dry. She was unable to speak. She tried to use her other arm to give the woman a thumbs up, but her arm felt heavy, like her arm was replaced with rocks. The arm she had gotten the shot on stung a little too much to use it. All of a sudden, the child's eyes felt heavy and she started to slowly blink before her eyes closed and everything went black as she collapsed, but the woman caught her. The woman put her in bed.
"I told you it wouldn't hurt. I'd never lie to you, #*^@&!. Why would I lie to someone I love." the woman whispered.
  ****NOTE: THE WOMAN DID NOT KILL THE CHILD. THE WOMAN DID NOT PUT INTO ACCOUNT THAT THE CHILD SHOULD'VE BEEN LAYING DOWN TO TAKE THE SHOT****

  I sit there scrolling through my phone. The time reads 01:32. All of a sudden, beside me I hear a lot of shifting. I turn to see what's making so much noise and I realize it's Relvin. I decide to wake him up.
  "What?" he asks.
  "It looked like you were having a nightmare." I say.
  "Huh? Oh uh it was nothing. Don't worry, it was just stupid. Sorry I woke you." he says.
  ****Verlynn
I wake up because I hear too much movement. I almost decide to tell whoever is doing that to stop when I hear Yavara's voice.
  "I was already awake. Also, Relvin, I can tell you're lying." Yavara says.
  "No I'm not." Relvin responds defensively. I use the darkness to cover me and get on my knees and try to take a look at what's happening on Yavara's bed. When I get into position, I realize that Relvin was sleeping on Yavara's bed. Probably fell asleep when they were talking earlier, I think.
  "Yes, you are. You might as well give up, you know I'm not gonna leave you alone." Yavara suggests.
  "Fine. I'll tell you. J'ai fait un rêve: j'ai bousillé notre relation en faisant quelque chose de stupide et tu ne m'aimais plus, mais nous étions plus âgés, nous avions 19 ans." Relvin says fast. What? I have no idea what he just said. What language was that? Why did he say it so fast? Is it important? Does it prove he's Humaveran?
  "Relvin, il y a une très bonne raison pour que ça n'arrive jamais. Voici la raison: si vous aviez fait quelque chose de stupide, je vous aurais giflé avant que cela puisse arriver parce que je sais comment vous agissez. De plus, si je suis plus âgé, cela signifie que j'ai appris à tolérer vos décisions stupides. Relvin, c'est faux. Tout est faux." Yavara answers. What is this language, I think, Spanish?
  "Tu es le meilleur, Yavara." Relvin replies. Yavara smiles.
  "Je t'aime." Yavara says. That completely ticks me off on what language they were speaking. I should've known! They're speaking French. This whole time they were speaking French. In some languages, there're basic words you know and you know the meaning of. Like hello in Spanish is hola. Je t'aime is another one of those words. Je t'aime is French for "Love you" or "I love you". They wouldn't switch languages just to throw me off. They don't even know I'm awake. Wait a minute, so that means the rumors are true! Yavara and Relvin ARE dating. She wouldn't say I love you if they weren't.
  "Why were you still awake?" Relvin asks.
  "I couldn't sleep."
  "Why?"
  "Don't know."
  "Have you even tried?"
  "Of course I have, how do you think I know?"
  "Try again."
  "Fine. But you can't wake me up later or else I'll through you out the window." Yavara says.
  "Fine." Relvin agrees. Yavara lies back down and covers herself with her blanket. Then, she faces my direction and closes her eyes. When Relvin is sure Yavara is asleep, he stations himself right behind her and wraps his arms around her.
  "Je t'aime aussi." Relvin whispers before falling asleep. Right after Relvin said that, before he falls asleep, I realize Yavara isn't asleep. Yavara, without opening her eyes, smiles and interlocks her fingers with his. I soon join Relvin in falling asleep.

  I wake up in the morning to see Yavara and Relvin still in the same position as they were last night. I try to check the time in my phone, but realize it is gone. I left it downstairs after we finished eating. Instead, I decide to use Yavara's phone to check the time. Her lock screen was a picture of her and Relvin at DisneyLand. They were both wearing Mickey Mouse ears and was dressed like him too. Yavara and Relvin appearto be quite a few years younger than their age now. I see the time and it reads 09:43. Then, I see a text message from Relvin that was sent yesterday afternoon. I can't go into it because I need her fingerprint, but I go down into her camera roll. I find a video sent yesterday afternoon, probably what is in Relvin's text. I scavenge the area for my earbuds. I plug the little wire into Yavara's phone and put my wireless earbuds in my ears and start the video.
  "Hi! I'm Yavara and this idiot—" Yavara stops and yanks Relvin back to her by his collar, "is Mikhail. Say hi Mikhail." Mikhail? I think. But that's Relvin. Why is she calling him Mikhail? Is Relvin a fake name?
  "Hi!" Relvin says, waving.
  "We're in DisneyLand and we're gonna have tons of fun! Right Mikhail?" Yavara asks.
  "I'm hungry." Relvin states. I giggle a little.
  "Geez Mikhail, why are you so fat?" Yavara asks. Relvin keeps quiet.
  "But I don't care, though. You're still my bestest friend." Yavara says happily.
  "The bestest of the bestest!" Relvin exclaims.
  "Yeah! We're gonna have so much fun as friends, I bet €20 on it. If I'm right in the future, Mikhail, you owe me €20 AND have to give me a piggy back ride for free!" Yavara exclaims.
  "Fine. Bet." Relvin agrees.
  "I know I'm gonna be right. I know for sure we're gonna be the bestest of friends!" Yavara exclaims again. Then, the video ends. I smile. I quickly unplug the cord and turn off her phone. I walk into the bathroom and brush my teeth, then, I head downstairs without waking them.

  ****Yavara

I wake up to chirping birds and the sun shining on my back. I remove my fingers from one of Relvin's hands while the other hand was free. I turn around and face Relvin to see him already awake and on my phone.
  "Bonjour mademoiselle." Relvin says.
"Bonjour Monsieur. Pourquoi êtes-vous sur mon téléphone?" I respond.
  "Eh bien, mon amour, nous partageons d'autres choses, pourquoi ne pas partager des téléphones?" Relvin suggests.
  "Tu es stupide." I reply, flicking him the temple.
  "Tais-toi." he responds, laughing. I get out of my bed and brush my teeth and Relvin does the same.
  "Souviens-toi, ne la laisse pas nous découvrir, Yavara. Si elle le fait, cela signifie que notre relation est en danger." Relvin says.
  "Je ne le ferai pas, je ferai attention. Je ne veux pas gâcher ça. Je ne veux pas gâcher notre relation, Mikhail." I reply.
  "Je t'aime." Relvin replies.
"Je t'aime aussi." I repeat, kissing him on the cheek and leaving the room. When we arrive downstairs, everyone is eating and talking.
"What took you guys so long?" Verlynn asks.
"Nothing, we just got....distracted." Relvin says, looking for the right word.
"HoHoHo! DiStRaCtEd! More like SeCrEtLy MaKiNg out!" Ravamara jokes. I take one of her mini sausages and eat it.
"Hey! You're just mad because you know it's true." Ravamara replies.
"You guys' food is over there." Gevora says.

Man, little does Ravamara know that they WERE most likely doing that because they're MOST LIKELY dating. I never realized this, but eavesdropping goes a long way for you in terms of knowledge. Markus, Savara, Avarra, Allister, Ravamara, Alton, and Yavara's other sister I think, the one who told her where her food is, are all being lied to. They don't know that their sister or daughter is secretly dating Relvin or Mikhail (as what younger Yavara called him). Eavesdropping, it looks like you're gonna be my best friend this summer.
