I was new to Jefferson High School and it was the middle of the school year. We had just moved from Nevada to California.
I lived in Las Vegas, Nevada and we always found ourselves visiting California, so we moved there. Most of my family lived in California, so that was a definite plus!
We arrived at our new house with our luggage and started to unpack. I was exhausted from unpacking and setting everything up. I decided to lug my tired body downstairs to see how everything looked downstairs.
I heard an unfamiliar voice speaking with my mother. I decided to eavesdrop behind a wall so they couldn't see me. I heard that they the strangers voice had a son that went to my new school.
