I opened the door, that revealed a big classroom with a ton of kids, that all had their eyes placed on me.
After I got my educational supplies from the teacher, she told me to sit by Matt and pointed to the seat. That was the boy because I had seen a picture of him. He was a really adorable boy who looked super sweet.
I walked shyly to the seat by the sweet boy and sat down. He turned to me and whispered, "Hey, I'm Matthew." I looked at him and smiled. I was surprised he was nice. It was a honors class, so he was smart too.
Smart, sweet, and cute, I thought I better get to know him. "Hi, I'm Beth, I like your face." I stuttered. I thought about how stupid and weird I just sounded.
"Thanks..." Matthew replied sounding creeped out. He turned back to the teacher. I was so mad at myself for saying that. I was very thankful when the bell rang so I could leave the awkwardness.
