I'm taking my end-of-term exams. That's not to bad, Zeph and Hab are taking EFYTAJ exams, they're worse.
I walk out the hall after my English exam, when I have a premonition.
Eternal pain, a body being ripped apart, a sea of blood. Tears. The soul rips apart a mind, tears, crying, sea of black, sea of death...
I wake up just outside the school. My friend is leaning over me.
"Elyssa, are you okay?" she asks.
"Yes, I'm fine." I stand up and walk off. I have to tell Zeph.
Zephaniah
"Are you sure that's all you saw?" I press.
"Sure. You can even check." Elyssa says. I do. It is all she saw. The sea of blood, the sea of black, the sea of death, they are all linked by remnant. Why? What's happening?
Suddenly something flashes across my mind. Millions of souls tearing at the fabric of the universe, begging to be set free...
Damn it. It's one of those nightmares I can't ever remember.
Why can't I remember them?
