There's a knock at the door. I open it to see John stood there. He's bleeding from his head and shoulder.

"John! Come in!" I tell him. He walks in. I take him into the kitchen so I can sort out his wounds. As I work, he tells me why he's here.

"The next victim has been killed. It won't be long now until-" he doesn't finish the sentence, but I know what he means. It won't be long now until I'm killed.

"The last one recorded his last minutes." he continues.

"Oh god, oh god, that's a Crawler! Get away from me! Please don't kill me! Oh no! Aah!"

I stop. "John, play it again, this time, don't stop it." He does, and after the boys voice comes more screams, then some strange noises.

"The Crawlers," John says. We listen to the next bit of the recording. The boy coughs.

Then Nashesh speaks with the most chilling voice I've ever heard in my life.

"Are you afraid of dying, or death?" he asks.

"Nothing you say will make me fear death." the boy replies, then spits.

"Then I will have your soul. And you will work for me." Nashesh says.

John looks up. "How many people do you reckon work for him?" he asks.

"I don't know. Twenty-three, because he didn't get Carrie's soul?"

"Probably."

John stays over seeing as it would be impossible for him to get home.
