"Arthit!!"

Arthit jumped a little and turned back, then smiled.

"Hello ma'am"

"Please call me P"

"But...you are my boss"

"But...I want to be your friend"

Arthit looked a little hesitant.

"Come on, you can do it", she encouraged.

"P...P'Nam", Arthit said shyly and blushed.

Namtarn, for a moment, stood stunned, then burst out laughing,

"Oh my!, You are so cute!!", Then proceeded to ruffle his hair.

Arthit ducked his head, now with his ears painted red too.

"How's your leg?"

"It's better"

Then Namtarn received a call. She smiled and bade him goodbye.

Arthit waved back enthusiastically like a child. He was so happy right now.

Even after finishing his work, his smile never left his face. It was like he was in a daze. Automatically, he changed his clothes. Automatically, he came out and started walking to the bus stop.

He was so out of it, that he didn't noticed a car stopping by.

The driver pulled down the windows and called," hey chubby"

But Arthit being currently deaf to the world, carried on.

"Hey!! Chubby!!"

It was not until he honked, that Arthit snapped out of it.

Cluelessly, he looked to his side.

"Not only are you careless, you are deaf too"

Arthit frowned at the stranger,

"Do you need something?"

The said main stared for a while, then said,

"How's your leg?"

Now Arthit was a little bewildered. Was he limping so much that strangers are asking about it?

"It's better"

"Hmmm.....just another week or so, then you'll be completely healed".

Is he a doctor? Arthit wondered. Then nodded at him and began walking.

"Hey wait!!!"

"Yes?"

"Get inside, I'll drop you"

Arthit's brows shot up. A stranger is offering him a ride. He knew things like these happened, but never expected it to happen to him.

" No thanks"

He started walking faster.

"This kid!! Am offering you so nicely!!"

Now Arthit started being tense. What's with this man??

"Hey!!"

At the same time, a bus came and Arthit quickly boarded it, ignoring the man.

Phana laughed sarcastically, is this really happening? What's wrong with the kid? He failed to recognise him. And to top it all, treated him like a suspicious person. For god sake, he's a doctor!!.

Grinding his teeth he went home. Knowing he would get a chance In thee future.

"Well, well, if it isn't the rude chubby"

Arthit looked up from where he was sitting. He was inside the hospital and was waiting for his turn.

"Oh!! It's you!!"

"It's Dr Phana for you", Phana raised an eyebrow.

"Ohk...but do I know you?"

Phana sighed," it was with my car that you almost collided. Forgot that already? Or are you in the habit of getting into accidents."

Arthit remembered and then frowned," hey!! That was an accident and am sorry. And I think, I've already apologised too. No need to be a douche about it Dr Phana."

They glared at each other, until Arthit's name was called.

In irritation, he quickly got up, but almost fell down, when he experienced a sudden pain.

"Ow!!"

But just at the right moment, Phana extended his hand and caught him.

"Careful!!"

Slowly, Phana pulled him up and their eyes met. And they got lost for a moment.

"Mr Arthit Rojnapat!!"

Phana quickly broke the eye contact and realised his hand was still on Arthit's waist. He pulled it back.

He awkwardly cleared his throat, nodded and went away.

Arthit on the other hand, went to his doctor, wondering, what the hell just happened?
