You really wished you took the gun from Chris when you first got to the mountain. Now it was you and Mike against two Wendigos and all you had was a fucking pistol.
"Hey, remember when I said I knew how to use this?" You asked Mike while trying to stay completely still. He slightly nodded as he tried to keep completely still. "I kind of lied..."
Mike sighed and responded, "I know you did, I just wanted to see how long you would keep up this little tough act of yours."
Mike gave you a look that you interpreted well. It was time to take action. You lifted the gun and shot the closest Wendigo. Mike tackled you out the door just in time to avoid being ripped apart by the other Wendigo.
Mike ran to barricade the door. You stood up and brushed yourself off before looking at Mike. "Huh, maybe I spoke to soon when I said I didn't know how to use this thing!"
Mike just chuckled and said, "Of course that's what you say after we almost die."
"Hey, friends that die together stay together!"
"Shut up- NO WAY!" Mike interrupted himself after he looked at something behind you. You turned around in confusion as Mike ran to the wolf that was sitting in the corner of the room and shouted, "WOLFIE!"
"You befriended a fucking wolf?!"
"Oh yeah, Wolfie, meet Y/N."
"Um, it's very nice to meet you....?" "Wolfie" walked over to you and sniffed you for a second before licking your hand and walking down the corridor.
"He likes you! Now, let's follow him shall we?" Mike jogged off after the wolf and you had no choice but to follow, grumbling slightly.
Yeah, you thought, Follow a wolf through some abandoned mines filled with Wendigos that want to feast on our flesh. That is definitely not a scenario that could end in one of us dying.
