Chapter 19: Strike a Pose Homegirl!

You and Mike were having one hell of an adventure. You had encountered many Wendigos and almost died many times, but you weren't going to give up yet! You and Mike ran through the door, trying to outrun the Wendigo behind you.

The bastard tackled Mike to the ground and you were about to bat another home run when a shovel came in contact with the Wendigo. You took the second shot and knocked the Wendigo's head off. You turned to look at the person who attacked the Wendigo first and gasped with joy.

"SAM!" You shouted and jumped onto the slightly taller blonde. She stumbled back a bit and let out a small chuckle. Mike stood up and brushed himself off, before he awkwardly joined the hug. You and Sam just stared at him blankly before laughed and squeezing the life out of him.

"Not to ruin the moment," Mike squeaked out. "But it's too tight."

You and Sam quickly let go of your friend and apologized. Mike took in a few deep breathes, waving off your apologies.

"Not that I'm not glad you're here," You said. "But why are you here?"

"Oh right! Well... I needed to warn you both about the Wendigos, but it seems you've got it covered," Sam answered with a small laugh.

"Yeah, we've got a thing going now. We're like a badass crime fighting duo!" Mike shouted and struck a pose. You and Sam stared at him for a second before he whispered, "Y/N, strike a pose homegirl!"

You awkwardly struck a pose and felt oddly badass while doing it. You and Mike laughed and he gave you a side hug. Sam laughed along, but she raised an eyebrow at you two. You all decided to start heading to find Josh together.

Sam walked slightly closer to you and whispered, "So...what's going on with you and Mike?"

"WHAT?!" You jumped slightly and whispered/yelled, "There is nothing going on! Why would you think that?!"
