Chapter 7

SEIYA POV:

On my way home I was thinking about all the fun I had with Ruby today. I laughed thinking about the kiss at the go carts and the one in the car. I could tell it frustrated her, but I couldn't help it, I'm a huge flirt and she was just to freaking cute! I laughed again , I couldn't wait to hang out with her again. I walked in the door with a smile on my face,only to have it drop when I see my friends waiting there staring at me, arms crossed. Shimatta! I stood there with my own arms crossed,staring at them ;waiting for them to assault me. Yaten of course was the first to speak.

"What the hell seiya! Where was you at this whole time! You better not have been doing something stupid. We don't have time for that!"

"Yaten do me a favor, shut to the up ok. Shut. To. The .up." I said glaring at her. Nobody got time for this crap. Yaten growled and I could tell she was about to go off, but Taiki beat her.

"Yaten! Not now please!" She glared at Yaten who rolled her eyes but didn't say anything. Taiki then glared at me. "Where was you Seiya? We almost came looking for you!" I sighed annoyed tired of them treating me like this. I'm grown damn it!

"For the last time I don't have to tell you guys anything ok! Your not my boss or my parents! You guys may be older than me but I'm the leader not the other way around! As for where I was I was hanging with a new friend and lost track of time."

"What new friend?" Taiki asked curiously .

"Just a friend I meant today. Now I'm tired and going to bed. Night." I said shoving pass them,heading to my room. They didn't need to know my business anyway, who I hang out with is my business alone.
I was tired but I wanted to take a bath so I took off my clothes and ran some water and added some bubble bath in it That was made especially for me in Japan. In fact all three of us got our own signature bubble bath made for us. Mine was rose and vanilla scented, Yaten is a lime and caramel and Taiki is jasmine as cherry. It was a parting gift from our record company,since we were leaving to America. We actually really loved them especially since they also had special ingredients in them that had a calming affect from stress or anxiety. Which is why I was using it now. My friends were stressing me out. I didn't want to tell them about Ruby. They would either embarrass me or tell me not to hang out with her anymore ,I wasn't gonna let them do that to me again;especially since I wasn't a teenager anymore either. I went back to my room and grabbed my phone and sat it on the edge of the tub before getting in and reclining back with my eyes closed. By just inhaling the scent of the bath bubbles I could feel myself relax and the stress going away. I moaned at how good the water felt against me. I could feel myself starting to dose off off when my phone started ringing.

"Oh shhhhhh-crap!" I mumbled startling awake. I fanned my hands in the air in attempt to dry them some before I picked up my phone to see it was Ruby calling. She doesn't play around does she?
I smiled before answering and putting it on speaker phone. "Hello?"

"Hey!" Ruby chirped ,her Aussie accent making her voice sound like melting honey to my ears. I groaned internally not wanting her to hear. Had no idea anyone could be that sexy...well except me maybe.

"What are you up to?" She asked me. I could hear rustling on her end of the call.

"Hmmm just taking a bubble bath before bed." I say smiling relaxing in the tub.

"I'd like to see that" I heard her say in a low voice.

"What?" I asked.

"What?" She repeated back like I'm the one that said something. I smiled widely. I heard What she said I just wanted to see if she would say it again.

"You said something,what was it ?" I asked her.

"I don't know what you are talking about ."

"Uh huh" I said smirking and laughing. "Rubī akachan watashi wa anata ga nanika itazura o itta koto o shitte imasu" I said giggling.

"Uhh I have no idea what you said." She says into the phone.

"I know." I smirked.

"Well are you going to tell me or no."

"Nope." I say popping the P. I heard her scoff and I laughed at her. What I said was Ruby baby, I know you something naughty. But of course I wasn't gonna tell her that, it would be to embarrassing. Plus it was meant to tease her.

"Well was what you said at least sexy though? It sounded like it." I bit my lips.

"Hmmm maybe,maybe not."

"Well fuck!" Ruby blurted all of a sudden.

I burst out laughing because her comment took me by surprise.

"Well that was unexpected." I told her chuckling.

"You're being a tease." She said her accent getting thicker for a moment. Che!

"I'm sorry I'll stop now." I said sounding sincere. I signed,this was one of the times when my harmless flirting as I called it would get me in trouble and I didn't want to upset Ruby. I know She liked me and I'm not gonna lie I definitely liked her. I just wasn't sure if I wanted a relationship. I mean I'm still in love with another girl for crying out loud! It wouldn't be fair to her. While I'm thinking all this I hear a thumping noise on her end.

"What are you doing over there?" I laugh.

"Sorry I'm just picking out some clothes for a trip I have to go on."

"Oh ok cool beans." I replied.

"Really? Cool beans? Lame." She states sarcastically and snorted.

"Hey! I like that phrase it's funny so back off Aussie!" I said in mock anger.

"Whatever you say jap." She says with her own fake anger.

It gets quite for a second then I snorted and she bust out laughing. 'This moment felt great, like we was the best of friends who knew each other for years rather than a day. I looked at my hands and saw that they were getting pruny. Yep time to get out. I pull the plug out the tub and get out, wrapping a towel around me, and Walked out to my room. I finished drying my body off and threw my towel on the floor,walking to my dresser and grabbed underwear and short shorts and a spaghetti strap tank top. It's what I usually wear to bed.we continued talking for about an hour before she announced she had to go to bed , because She was leaving for her trip tomorrow. It made me kinda sad because I was hoping to hang out with her ,but I guess I'll wait until she gets back or something. I was actually thinking about asking her out this time and I had an idea of where I wanted to go. Maybe I'll ask her when she gets back. I was thinking all this as I fell asleep.

RUBY POV:

I got home and fed my dogs and played with them for a while. They were some of my best friends and they was always there to give me love when I needed it. After I played with them for a while I went upstairs to my room,got undress and hopped in the shower. As the water ran over me it felt good but I couldn't stay in for long because I had to pack for my trip. I was going to Milan to shoot a Nike as campaign so I would be gone a whole week. I decided to take this shoot at the last minute so I had my manager book my flight and hotel and everything and now I had to pack because I was leaving tomorrow. I hurried and washed off, and got out;and changed onto my sleep wear. I then grabbed my phone and called seiya before it was too late.

"Hello?" She picked up,her smooth voice making my stomach flutter with butterflies. God I only known this girl one bloody day! While I started to talk to her , I decided to pack at the same time. I loved how I could just joke around with her so easily. It was so natural and also just weird but in a good way. Does that even make any sense? I told her how I had to pack for my week trip to Milan. She told me to have a safe trip and to have fun, which I thanked her for. For the remainder of our conversation I asked her of all the places she been to but she told me she only been to places in Japan. So I asked her questions about what places she like to go to. I looked at my phone and noticed that it was getting late .

"Hey I gotta go now, I have to be up early for my flight." I told her reluctantly to get off the phone.

"Ok then see you when you get back I guess?" She said sounding unsure. Of course she would see me when I got back, and who said I wouldn't try to talk to her while I'm gone.

"You know it." I said with a smile. She laughed and wished me a goodnight and sweet dreams. When I hung up wii her , exhaustion took over me and in a few minutes I was out.
