Chapter 23

RUBY POV:

It was Wednesday and I had a few hours before the party. I was on my way from the pet store picking up the other part of my gift and now I was on my way home to get ready. I pulled up to my house and took my stuff in the house . I still had to wrap up and package my gift, I quickly hurried and did. Then hopped in the shower to get out and put my clothes on with my swimsuit underneath. I had already packed my over night bag last night. After that I went downstairs to make sure my dogs had every thing they needed and played with them until it was time to go. When it was I went upstairs and grabbed my bag and presents and put them in the back seat, then got in the driver seat and put in the address that Seiya sent to me last night. It was only 20 minutes from me.

When I pulled up to her house, I looked at it impressively. Now I know her house is bigger than mines. Well it makes sense it's three of them. I checked myself in the mirror before getting out the car and grabbing my things from the back seat. I walked up the porch steps and knocked. After a few minutes, the door opened to reveal the tall Amazon looking one. She had on a simple purple one piece with diamond shapes  cut on the side of it. She also had a Saran wrap around her waist With flip flops and her hair was down. The tall woman stared at me in confusion for a minute, before speaking .

"Uh Can I help you."  she asked .

I blinked at her confused "Uh hi I'm here for the party. My name is Ruby."

The Amazon looked at me again before recognition dawned on her face. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry. Please come in." she said stepping back in.

I smiled at her as I stepped inside. "The party doesn't start for another 30 minutes. So you will be the first guest." she replied looking at me.

" Yeah I know, seiya said I could come early if I was wanted since I'm staying over." I tell her with a smile.

She smiled widely at me and chuckled "That makes sense. Well welcome to our home Ruby and I'm Taiki by the way." she introduced herself ,and stuck her hand out. I smiled widely and shook her hand. That's one friend down, one to go.

"Yeah I talked to you on the phone right?" I asked her .

She smiles and nods. "Yeah that's me it's a pleasure to finally meet you and thanks again for watching out for Seiya that night." Taiki replied.

I nodded at her and smiled. Wow she was really polite. "Nice to finally meet you and it was no problem at all."

"Oh follow me,I can take you to the living room and you can sit your stuff down." She said and I nodded gratefully .

"OK thanks" I could feel my present getting restless, because it was moving around in its carrier. We turned a corner and there was the living room. There was two cream colored couches in the middle of the room. In between them was a brown wooden table that sat low to the ground with pillows on each end of it. There was a flat screen TV mounted on the opposite wall facing the couches. There was some pictures and paintings of places and nature that I assumed was in Japan.

There was also incense lit on two corner tables. I stepped into the room looking around it in awe, as I sat my stuff on the couch. "Wow this is beautiful." I say looking still. Taiki looked at me as She sat on the opposite couch.

"Thank you. I decorated it myself." she laughs while looking around too. We started talking about how she came up with the idea to decorate the house in a modern Japanese style , so they could have a little piece of home with them. After a while we was interrupted.

"Taiki have you seen where I put my beach bag ? I brought it down---." we turn to see the short silver haired girl walking in towards us. She stops when she sees me sitting on the couch.
