Chapter 18

SEIYA POV:

After we ate and talked ,Ruby started cleaning up by collecting our plates together. "Oh let me help with that." I say gathering our glasses and carrying them to the kitchen.

"Thanks but you don't have to, I got it." Ruby tells me as I follow her. I smiled at her before responding.

"Actually I do. It's called common curtesy." I tell her. She looks at me and smile.

"Not many people do that anymore." She states.

"Yeah but I do." I wink at her, making her laugh and smile.

"I like having you around Seiya. You're fun to talk to."

I grinned at her "I'm the definition of fun." I say hip bumping her lightly. She laughs, bumping me back.

"I like having you around too." I tell her smiling softly. She smiles back then reaches to my stroke my cheek softly. God her touch feels nice. I bit my lip holding in a moan. She leaned in and kissed my cheek causing me to blush. She giggled seeing my red cheeks.

"If you want to help so badly you can help me with the dishes." She replied.

"Sure I'll rinse and dry and you can wash?" I offered.

She smiles and nods "Sure sounds good." I helped her load all the dishes into the sink.

"So what should I get your friend for her birthday? "Ruby asks while we do dishes. I laughed looking at her.

"You can just say Yaten you know. That is her name ,unless you're like me then you can call her shortie or shrimp or even midget." I say snickering at my own joke.

"Why do you call her that?" Ruby asks laughing as she hands me a plate.

"Because she's short." I grin. She looks at me for a minute before laughing.

"No thanks I'll call her by her name. It's Yaten right? Is that how you say it?" She asked,laughing. Her Aussie accent made Yaten's name sound sexy.

"Yeah you said it perfectly." I tell her smiling then continued talking "As for a gift you don't have to get her anything. She will already have enough  most she buys herself." I tell her laughing , which caused her to join in.

"Well I want to, common courtesy remember?" She said winking. I laughed and nodded

"Ok,ok I get it. Let me tell you some of the stuff she likes so you can think of a good gift. First Yaten is our fashion diva, so she loves being in all the newest designer fashions and makeup. Second she loves photography. You know taking pictures of things and places that she finds beautiful or capturing...." Ruby nodded listening with a thoughtful expression as I continued speaking.
"And last is she loves..... cats." I say with a dramatic pause. Ruby looks at me with a raised eyebrow .

"Cats?" She asks in disbelief.

I laughed at the look on her face. "Yes cats I've only seen it a hand few number of times, but when she sees or hold a cat it changes her. Normally she's very sarcastic and mean and can be very sensitive, but put a cat in front of her and she becomes as nice and gentle as an angel fish." I say shaking my head. Never really understood how that worked and why only cats. Ruby smirked at me as she handed me the last dish.

"Well animals are awesome. Sometimes even better to be around then people."

I stare at Ruby thinking as I observe her beautiful face,which is really hard to do when looking at her. Well Ruby is an animal lover, that much I can tell , so maybe she is right about that.

"I can see your point in that..."

RUBY POV:

After washing the dishes I gave her a tour of the rest of the house ,which isn't as big as you would think looking on the outside. When I showed her my pool, her eyes got wide like a kid on Christmas.

"Oh wow! Your pool looks awesome! And are those inflatable slides!?" She responded enthusiastically. I laughed at her reaction.

"Yeah it is. Why do you want to try it out?" I asked. She looked excited for a moment before her expression changed.

"Maybe next time.

"What's wrong? Why not now?" I asked her frowning.

"Well for one I don't have a swimsuit and I rather not repeat what happened at the beach." She says laughing but continued speaking, "Second I should probably get going soon." She finished and I looked at the time on my phone.

"It's only 4 o clock,can't you stay a little longer?" I asked her . She looked at me and smirked.

"You really don't want me to leave do you?" She replied laughing and I just shrugged ,smiling at her.

"Ok I'll stay a little while longer, I still shouldn't get in the water though . She told me.

"Sure. We can do whatever you want." I tell her smiling.

"Ok but what? I have no clue what to do now."

"We could watch a movie or tv show." I tell being helpful and seiya nodded agreeing. I smiled and grabbed her hand pulling her back in the house. I noticed I've been doing that a lot lately just grabbing her hands. I didn't know how she felt about it, she seemed to didn't mind. At least I hoped she didn't. I liked touching her even if it's only holding her hand , it felt natural, like I was supposed to. I led her back to my bed room where my tv was at. I had one in the living room but I rather be comfortable on my bed with her instead. I led her to my bed and sat down next to her. I grabbed the remote control and put it on Netflix. I then handed her the remote "You can pick a movie or show for us to watch." I tell her smiling. She looks at me skeptically.

"You sure?"

"Yeah go ahead." I nod. She starts strolling through movies and shows until she stops in one particular show.

"You're in this one right?" She asks looking at me. I laughed and smirked, nodding at her.

"Yep have you seen it?" She shakes her head.

"No but I've heard about it." She replied.

"We can watch it if you want ." I tell her smiling.

"Ok but first tell me? Is it worth watching all of it or just the parts with you in it?" She asked grinning at me. Well I wasn't expecting that thought blushing. She was waiting for an answer so I cleared my throat and spoke.

"Well before I was in it I used to watch it and I loved it , so yeah I would say it's worth it." I told her truthfully.

She nods and starts the show and I crawl back and lean against my headboard.

"You can come over here too you know." I say patting the spot by me on the bed, smiling invitingly. She smirks and crawls to the spot beside me and we start watching the show. She seemed to be really into it and enjoying it, smirking or laughing at some of the things they said. I had already seen it so my focus was mostly on her. There' was also something weird happening too which is why I wanna could only focus on her. I don't know what was happening but I was suddenly hyper aware of her next to me. Her hair was still down, so whenever she moves it brushes against my bare arms, causing a shiver down my spine and a flutter in my stomach. Dang it! How am I supposed to sit here with my body reacting like this. I bit my lips and shifted trying to put some space in between us, hoping it would help. My movement caused seiya to look up from the screen and look at me confused.

"Are you ok?" She asked me concerned.

I nodded "Yeah just trying to get comfortable." I tell her with a smile that I hoped looked real. She stares at me for a minute looking like she didn't believe me before turning back to the show.

I crossed my arms over my chest. Hopefully this helps....I sigh.
