Chapter 24

SEIYA POV:

When I got up this morning, there was this outfit on the end of my bed . I picked it up and there was a sticky note on it that said wear this... It said . I sighed rubbing the sleep out my eyes. Did it really matter what I wore, it's a pool party for Pete's sake. But I didn't feel like arguing so I just got ready. I had to help set everything up soi went downstairs to get some breakfast, which Yaten and Taiki were already eating.

"Morning guys" I tell them as I sat down at the table with a plate of food already waiting for me.

"Morning I was about to come and get you ." Taiki said sipping her tea.

"Hmmm." I mumbled while I ate my breakfast of bacon ,eggs and toast .

"I see you put on the outfit I requested ." Yaten says looking at me approvingly. I looked at her and nodded .

"Only because it's your birthday though." I tell her laughing .

"Yeah yeah ." Yaten said rolling her eyes but smiled . We sat there talking for a while. Then we all went our seperate ways to get ready for the party.

I had to prep the food,so I had to make sure everything was ready to be served and put on the tables outside. It was in the Kitchen later, when  Yaten came in demanding that I follow her. "What? Why?" I asked as I washed and dry my hands,looking at her confused.

"Just come on!" She scoffed and grabbed my hand pulling me out of the kitchen. She pulled me into the living room, where I could see Ruby sitting on the couch. I looked at her surprised. I didn't know she was here. Why didn't I hear the doorbell?

I looked at her outfit after giving her a hug. She was wearing a white t-shirt and basketball shorts. I wish I was wearing that. The outfit I was wearing was cute but these shorts where tight and it reminded me of my sailor outfit. She looked really good though to me, but she thought she was underdressed;which we assured her that she wasn't. If anything she looked the best. She then gave Yaten one of her presents which was a little kitten . It was soooo cute. I mean I prefer dogs but cats are cool too. I could tell Yaten loved  the gift. As I've said before she likes cats. She even gave Ruby a hug that's how I know she liked it, she hates physical contact. I was happy for her until she started speaking after the hug ....

"Wow you're really cute in the face." I heard Yaten say to Ruby ,staring at her in the eyes.

WHAT.THE.HELL.

I looked at Yaten in utter shock, that was rude to say in a way, I mean it's true but still rude. I also had a really bad feeling in my stomach from her saying that. It feels slightly unfamiliar and I didn't like it.
When I mention how bluntly rude that was she completely ignored my warning  and kept going.  Oh I see?  she wants to play games huh?

I reminded her about what I said about destroying her presents and that made her stop real quick. I thought smugly . When yaten and Taiki both left to do other things , Ruby asked me what that was about , so I explained it her.The look she gave me was kinda funny.  Like I was the Grinch because I threatened to destroy some presents. I just laughed and grabbed her hand leading her around our house on a tour. Showing her the kitchen ,pool which was nothing compared to hers.

"It's still impressive." she said complementing us. I looked at her laughing and shaking my head. She was incredible. Still holding her hand I led her to a door that led to our basement. I looked at Ruby smiling widely. If she was anything like me , she would love this.

"I'm gonna show you my favorite part of the house besides My room." I tell her laughing and she laughed along. I open the door to the basement and flipped on the light switch before heading downstairs , Ruby following behind me. When we reached the bottom of the stairs ,there was another door you had to open. When we entered I turned to Ruby and grinned.

"This is my game haven." I tell her raising my arms wide. I saw her eyes widen as she looked around the room at the games machines, pool table ,and Wii and Wii connect station in the corner .

"Wow this is so freaking cool.You have all these games. Woah is that pacman !" Ruby says excitedly rushing over to the pacman machine. I laughed and followed behind her over to it and watched as she fiddled with with it. She looked at me in awe.

"How did you even get this? You can't find these around like that anymore." she stated.

I smiled and shrugged my shoulders . "Someone was getting rid of it and I bought it." I tell her giggling.

"Well that was good luck ." she said laughing. "Wanna play with me for a few minutes?" she asked curiously. I smiled widely at her.

"Sure!" I said and joined her.
