Chapter 45

SEIYA POV:

I've been spending most of my time lately playing on my Xbox with Terra when I had free time. She was so much fun to play with and we made awesome team mates. All the games that I had recently bought she already had and knew how to play. So I let her show me; and when she wasn't online. I did some stuff on my own.

Right now we were playing fortnite which was kinda fun. She showed me some of the games cheats and even glitches that it had . She was cracking jokes which had me laughing more than playing. At one point we just started trying to hit each other with our weapons. Almost like a virtual game of tag or something. I eventually looked off after a while because she had to go take care of some business and I didn't feel like playing alone. I wonder what Yaten and Taiki was doing? I picked up Chance who was resting in my lap while I played my game and carried her downstairs,Ru and Charlie followed behind me out the room.

YATEN POV:

Damn...... I thought looking at the tv, holding my kitten in my arms as she napped. Since getting her from Ruby I look up what breed she was and it told me she was a blue Russian cat. So I went with the name Blue.
Hell it was better than puffball,which was how she looked when I got her but she was starting to grow out of her baby fur now. Besides blue fits because her eyes are blue and their beautiful. She knew how to use them against me too, especially when she wanted to eat. They were like puppy dog eyes except on a cat. I smiled down at her with affection before turning my eyes back at he Tv wig a frown.
It won't be good if she sees this.....

"Is that ?..." I heard Taiki's voice say behind me.

"Yep it is ." I deadpanned with a blank face. Out the corner of my eye I saw her sit next to me on the couch and we both looked at the tv to see a picture of Ruby laughing while chatting with her ex girlfriend Jessica Origliasso.

"I don't think we should let Seiya know about this..." Taiki said ,her brow creased with concern. I looked at her skeptically.

"Do you really think we can keep this from her ? It's on the tv for Pete's sakes! It's probably already all over social media!" I told her scowling.

"I know that Yaten but we can still try. I get the feeling these are just rumors and speculations , but I'm pretty sure Seiya will still see it differently."

"What a bother?" I say sighing while rolling my eyes. Just what I needed in my life, relationship drama and it's not even my relationship.....

"Hey guys what are you up too?" We heard a voice say behind us and I jumped panicking and turned the channel quickly.

"Nothing just looking for something to watch." Taiki said with a fake smile  while I tried to make my face as blank as possible.

"Why did you change the channel so fast?" Seiya said coming to sit on the opposite side of me while the dogs where sniffing at our legs.

"Just the news...."I said in a bored tone.

"Then why you turn it?"

"Because it's boring duh."

Seiya looked at me for a minute before reaching for the remote.

"H-hey what are you doing?!" I said clutching  the remote , but she also had a hard grip on it and was able to snatch it out of my hands. Damn her strength!

I grimaced and looked at Taiki and shrugged , She sighed,rolling her eyes. Seiya had turned back the channel where they was still talking about Ruby.

"The Australian actress/model Ruby Rose was seen chatting it up at a little cafe with second tome ex Jessica Origliasso. It was said that Ruby was devastated and heartbroken by their last breakup. Based on these pictures it looks like it could be a new budding Romance between them possibly again? If so will it's last?" The news anchor stated before passing it over to the whether men.

We both looked at Seiya the whole time while she stared at the tv with a blank face. Her face was void of emotion on the outside and while she tried her best to hide her feelings and make herself numb I still felt them. The first feelings I felt was shock and surprise,followed by sadness then jealousy and....is that insecurity?

Since when has Seiya ever been insecure?.... I stared at her wide eyed and with some pity.

"I'm sure it's just a rumor Seiya." Taiki said putting her hand on Seiya's shoulder reassuringly.

"Right you know how they are Seiya. They dramatize everything when it comes to us celebrities remember. Even if it's not true it's how they sell their magazines and make money."  I replied trying to be helpful.

Seiya smiled but it was tight and clearly forced because it didn't reach her eyes. "I know that Guys, I'm sure it is just rumors and gossip.  Anyway I'm gonna go walk the dogs see you guys later ." Seiya' said holding Chance while Ru and Charlie followed her out the room.

"She's lying ...." Taiki said looking at me.

"Definitely...." I say sighing.

SEIYA POV:

I only walked a few feet from the house before I stooped and leaned against a nearby tree. Why did that hurt to see her in that picture. I know Ruby wouldn't cheat ,that I knew for a fact but that didn't mean there wasn't still feelings involved." From the way they looked at each other , there was still something there between them. I shook my head head to erase these thoughts .
It shouldn't be my concern anyway . What happened between them is between them.....

I didn't get caught up in drama in Japan and I certainly wasn't going to do it here. Though that didn't change the fact that it doesn't hurt. I would find out if what they are saying is true by going to the source. I'll just find out when I talk to her , for now I'm gonna take my mind off it. I was still holding Chance,so I sat her down and let her play with the others , thinking to myself as I watched them....
