Chapter 12

RUBY POV:

When we finally stopped it was dark ,but I could smell the ocean somewhere in the distance. "Where are we?" I asked curiously. She looked at me and hummed.

"Just a place I found when I first moved here." She smiled

"And that would be?" I asked again hinting.

"Come find out." She tells me winking and gets out the car. I laugh and get out as well. I walk over to her where she pulls out a blanket and picnic basket.

"Oh let me help with that." I tell her grabbing the basket handle.

"It's ok I got it, I'm not weak you know. I work out every week."

"I can tell." I say looking at her figure that was toned to perfection . If only I could run my hands on her and to feel just how toned it was.

"I would like something to do to help please." I say smiling at her. She stares at me for a minute, face blank.

"Ok sure." She replies,handing me the basket.

"Come on it's this way." She says directing me to follow her.We walk into some woods for a few minutes. I didn't know how she knew where she was going, it was dark out here. At some point I stumbled on a tree root and almost fell on my face, when I felt arms around my waist stopping me from falling.

She was few inches shorter than me so my face was pressed against her hair. I could smell the scent of vanilla and something flowery.

"Are you ok?" She asked still holding me.

"Yeah thanks." I say still leaning my face in her hair,enjoying the contact.

"You know if you wanted to be in my arms all you had to do was ask." She says laughing.

I chuckled and leaned back from her and smiled flirtatiously "No you got it all wrong babe, it's you who wants to be in my arms. And I bet also in my bed,and you would enjoy it." I say the last part in a seductive whisper, while I grinned winked at her. She blinked and licked her lips, blushing. That one thing alone almost drove me crazy. If I wasn't so unsure of her reaction I would have pressed her against the nearest tree and molded her lips to mine right there.

She looked away from me almost looking embarrassed. "Haha we're almost there." She says grabbing my hand and pulled me along behind her and I laughed. We walked a few minutes more, when I can hear the sound of waves and smell of sea salt.

We exited out of the trees and onto a beach. I could see lights from the city twinkling in the distance. When our feet touched the clear ,white sand ;Seiya stopped and pulled her hand free from mine. I noticed Seiya bending down towards her shoe. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm taking my shoes off so we don't track sand back to the car and home. That would be really annoying if we did." She explained.

"Oh good idea." I say agreeing with her and take off my sandals. I didn't want to bring sand back home either. After she took her shoes off , she looked at me and smiled. "Ok you can pick a spot for us to sit at."

"Ok, so how did you find this place anyway?" I say as we started walking up the beach and I looked around admire everything as we walked. It was so pretty here and peaceful,almost romantic even. Wait ?...Is this a romantic date?

"I literally just stumbled upon this place one day when I was on a drive because I was bored and just..... well landed here." She said gesturing around us and laughing . I laughed along with her.

"Well I'm glad you did it's beautiful here." I say breathing in the fresh sea smell.

"I loved it so I was hoping you would too." She says smiling at me. I looked at her and smiled back ,feeling touched by her words.
