SEIYA POV:

When the ride was over ,we off and walked to the car holding hands. We got into the car with our new stuffed friends in the Back seat .

"So where are we going now." I asked switching my flats for the stilettos and put the flats back in my purse. Ruby spoke without looking away from the road .

"Just to dinner ,hence the reason for the formal dress. They have a dress code." she told me laughing. I giggled and settled back in the seat enjoying the ride. We pulled up at the restaurant and I looked at the name ,it was called Perch. Ruby once again got out and came and opened my door ,reaching her a hand out for me. After I got out ,a valet came in took Ruby's keys and went to park the car.Ruby smiled at me and held elbow out to me ,then grabbed my hand placing it in he crook of her arm ,then proceeded to walk in the restaurant up to the hottest desk. The women there was elegantly wearing a simple black dress with her hair pinned up in a slick bun with delicate strands out around her face. She looked up at Ruby and smiled politely .

"Hello welcome to Perch. Do you have a reservation?" she asked sounding all professional but polite. Wow she's really good at this..... I thought observing her.

Ruby smiled at the women and Nodded . "Yes it should be under Rose." The hostess checked her list and smiled .

"OK right this way." She said and turned around ,and we followed her. She escorted is to a table in the middle of the room that was close to a dance floor and stage. Ruby pulled out my chair and I smiled gratefully sitting down ,and she sat down in her own chair across from me.

I picked up my menu and looked at it . There was so many delicious sounding meals in here that I didn't know what pick.

"Need some help?" I looked up to see Ruby smiling at me. I smiled sheepishly and nodded.

"Any recommendations?" I asked her.

She laughed and leaned forward and pointed at a dish on the menu . I looked at it and nodded,it sounded good. A waiter came over and asked for our orders and we told it. After he took our menus ,I smoothed my hands on my dress feeling a little out of place here . Not that it wasn't beautiful but it was more I expected. Yes I grew up in a palace because I'm the Guardian of a princess but still,here on earth I wasn't use to it not even in Japan. We didn't go to fancy restaurants, we just ate at home mostly, and here in America especially since I'm not famous here or known here yet.

"You look beautiful ...." I looked up at Ruby and saw her staring at me and I smiled.

"Thanks it's just I'm never been to a place like this before. We don't eat out alot because we like our privacy I guess. It's kind of unnerving for me." I explained to her .

"I'm not use to it either ,but I've ate here before ,so I tolerate this one." she said laughing. I smirked and raised my eyes brows . "You mean on other dates?" I asked and she laughed lightly .

"No just with people or friends I work with. So just for business purposes only."

"I was just kidding you know ." I tell her smiling.

"Always the jokester." she shook her head at me.

"It's what I'm good at." I reply winking at her.

She laughs as the waiter came back and gave us our drinks,telling us that our food would be out shortly. I took a sip of my drink,which was some type of mocktail drink. I guess it was an imitation of some type of cocktail minus the alcohol. Ruby's drink was some type of signature lemonade. Our food arrived after that and. We thanked our waiter . I took a bite of my food and it was delicious. So many different spices and favor all in one bite.
