Chapter 42

SEIYA POV:

I woke up with a groan the next morning,rubbing my eyes. I looked over and saw Ruby sleeping peacefully. We had set alarms on our phone to wake us up and I hadn't heard either one go off so we must be early.

I leaned towards the dresser and grabbed my phone looking at the time. It said 10:55am and her flight was at 12. We had an hour to get ready. I sighed feeling tired still and rolled back over to Ruby. I stared at her for a minute as I slept. I honestly didn't want to wake her up,but I didn't want her to miss her flight. I smiled and leaned towards her giving her kisses.

"Ruby wake up sweetheart. Have to get ready to go." I told her in between kisses. Ruby sighed and fluttered her beautiful blue-green eyes opened, looking at me.

"Morning." She mumbled to me ,her accent making her voice sound sexy and groggily with sleep.

"Morning gorgeous." I smiled and brushed my fingers through her hair .She wrapped her arms around me and pulled me to her for a kiss. After a few minutes she pulled away.

"What Time is it?" Ruby asked me.

"11:01,we have to get up and get ready to go. I don't want you to miss your flight." I told her and pecked her lips again,making her hum.

"I was thinking we could take a shower together. You know to save water and time." I said giggling. She smiled and chuckled at me.

"Sounds like a plan to me." She said then sat up. I watched as she pulled the covers off and stood up ,stumbling for a minute. I reached my arms out instinctively trying to catch her. "You ok?" I asked.

"Yeah I just stood up to fast." She said then scrunched up her face in a cute way.

"What's that face for?" I asked laughing .

She looked at me and smirked. "Nothing my inner thigh muscles are sore." She replies and arched her brow at me. I grinned at her and winked.

"Sorry not sorry." I replied smugly. She laughed and reached out her hand to me.

"I'm not sorry either now come on." I grabbed her hand and let her pull me up.

"Ouch!" I said winching as I stood up,feeling the ache between my legs but at least I could walk and didn't have to crawl like last night....

Ruby laughed at me and pulled me along to the bathroom and turned on the water. I stood there and hugged her from the side, starting to miss her already. She turned in my arms and stared at me before leaning in to kiss me. She trailed me her hands down my sides and gripped my thighs and tugged. Despite the pain in my legs , I jumped up knowing that's exactly what she wanted. I wrapped my legs quickly around her waist and she entered the shower and pressed my back against the cold tile wall,making me whimper. I allowed her to keep me in that position for a few minutes before pulling away. Her lips trailed down my neck and she pressed her body closer to mine. This all felt good and all but my legs that were still sore they were beginning to shake a little. She puts her hand on my waist and her thumbs messaging my waist .

"Ruby?...." I whispered with my eyes closed. Ruby hummed against my neck before responding. "Yes babe?" She whispered still sending light kisses against me.

"As much as I want to keep doing this I don't think my legs can hold up any longer." I tell her my hands gripping her shoulders.

"Let me help you then." She mumbled and her hands gripped under my thigh , supporting my weight and began fluttering her hips against me. I groaned and moved against her.

"I....I don't think we have tome for this." I say to her breathlessly.

"It'll be quick I promise." She whispered and kissed me .

I groaned internally and wrapped my arms around her neck and deepened the kiss....

30 minutes later :

We both was out the shower and had our clothes on. Ruby spent a few minutes playing with her dogs . Saying goodbye to them. Since I'm gonna be watching them for her I didn't need to so I let her have her time. After that we put her luggage in the car and got in heading to the airport. When I asked her if she wanted some food she told me she would get something at the airport . On the way there we laughed and joked , trying not to talk or think about not seeing each other for months. When we pulled up to the drop off area , we both got out and unloaded her luggage from my trunk . When we were done with that we stood there staring at each other for a minute, then Ruby cleared her throat.

"So uh I got something." She said to me and pulled a jewelry box out her carry on bag.

"You didn't have to do that I didn't get you anything." I told her frowning.

"I know I just wanted you to have something to remind you of me while I'm gone." She replied handing me the jewelry box. I held it in my hands with pursed lips ,feeling some unknown emotion stirring in me that Made me uncomfortable.

"Open it." She said still staring at me ,biting her lower lip. I looked at her , then back at the box and opened it, My breath halting at what lay inside. Inside was a necklace that said Rose in cursive with Rubies imbedded in it.

"Wow." I whispered as I ran my fingers over the necklace.

"Do you like it?" Ruby asked quietly.

I looked at her and smiled, hearing her breath catch. "That's an understatement. I love it . Thank you so much." I told her and pulled her into a hug. She hugged me back and I felt her press her lips against my neck quickly then sighed before pulling away.

"I'm just glad you like it. Here let me help you put it on." She took the box from me and turned me around, moving my hair out of the way. She put the necklace around my neck and fastened the clasp,then turned me around staring at me.

"Beautiful." She said staring at me. I smiled at her again and kissed her . I only allowed to last ten seconds because I knew she had to leave and it was getting hard enough to let her go. I pulled away and sighed.

"You better go now." I told her stepping back. She smiled and nodded.

"I'll text you when I land." She said and I nodded feeling a lump in my throat. She leaned in for another hug and kissed me on the cheek and I hugged her back tightly. We stayed like that for a minute and pulled away. She gave me one more small smile before turning around and walking in the airport with her luggage. I sighed starting to miss her already and got in her car to drive back to her house to up the dogs.

I was gonna stay at her house and watch them but I didn't think I could do it at the moment. God! How did I let this women get me so attached to her? I thought to myself,clutching the necklace in one hand while driving the whole time. ....

RUBY POV:

I walked away from her biting my lips to the point where it hurt. I knew I loved her but god! This feels completely different than other times I've loved someone. Maybe because we haven't been together long and our relationship is still fresh. Or I just love easily? Who knows.....

I sigh seeing the flash that I'm all to familiar with, knowing that paparazzi would find me sooner or later. I went to the check in and they told me my flight was a few minutes late, so I sat down and put my rose cap on my head and my hoody up and pulled out my phone and texted Seiya.

Me: I miss you already.... now why is that?? Lol

2 minutes later she texted back.

Seiya💙: trust me I know the feeling .....but why aren't on the plane yet?

Me: my flight is a few minutes late 😓

Seiya💙: dang that sucks. Well you can talk to me until
It comes.....

Me: OK 😊

We spent the rest of the time texting until they called my flight.
