Chapter Twenty

AUTHOR'S NOTE: 

Okay, First, sorry for the very late update. Ang sabi ko ay susubukan kong mag-update every weekend, pero hindi kinaya. Naging busy sa work, na kahit Saturday ay kailangan kong mag-report sa office. Bilang pambawi, medyo mahaba ang chapter na ito.hehehe. This is still unedited. Sorry sa mga grammar at typo error.

Excited ako na i-post ang update na ito dahil ibig sabihin noon, natapos na ang isa sa pinakamalaking project namin this year. Isa pa lang iyan, marami pang kasunod.

Have you watched the news? It was not new but I was again, yes, again shocked about the latest victim of fraternity hazing. 

I remember when I drafted the first part of this story, it is my aim to define the other side of fraternities and brotherhood --- not just about fratwars, gang fights and violence. Kung mapapasin ninyo rito, gumawa ako ng isang buong chapter para sa outreach program nila...because this is how I see them.  

I am praying that the justice will always prevail—for all the victims, families, friends and for the sake of brotherhood.

On the other side, I want to thank the readers of MBB. Salamat kay @hanna_jho sa mga comments. It means a lot, lalo na nung ni-like mo yung mga chapters ng story. Sa dami ng mga stories sa wattpad, hindi ko alam kung papano mo nabasa or nakita ang kwentong ito, but still, thank you!

As suggested by my dear friend, Teng Mae, I may delete the other parts or POV here at gagawan ko na lang sila ng bagong story. Kaya basahin n’yo na habang nandyan pa.hehe

 THURSDAY

MARK'S POV

“And this year’s champion for men’s basketball, congratulations, College of Engineering and Architecture!”

The crowd went wild. This was not my first time to win this kind of game but the feeling was still new. I looked at my teammates who were jumping and throwing their hands in the air. Everyone inside the gym was cheering names of the players, particularly from our team.

“Woooo!” I heard a loud cheer and before I realized, dinumog na ako ng mga members ng Sigma from our college. They were jumped and threw their fists in the air. 

“Congrats pare!,” I was surprise to see Aira with them. Masyado kasi siyang maliit kaya natatakpan nila Pyro. She smiled and tapped my shoulder.

I smiled at her and before I can say anything, tumalikod na siya at nakita kong lumapit kay Paul para siguro i-congratulate. Napangisi ako at napailing. There is something about this two.

“Brod, magpa-inom ka ah?” Jacod said while grinning. In a minute, they all left and went to somewhere to hell I care.

I looked around and saw Adrian standing near the bleachers talking to some random girls na hindi ko rin kilala.

Obviously, he was not paying attention sa mga kausap niya. He was just nodding at patingin-tingin sa paligid. Huminto ang tingin n’ya sa bleacher na pinakamalapit sa entrance/exit. Sinundan ko ng tingin ang tinitingnan niya at hindi ko mapigilan ang matawa. ‘Patay kang bata ka’.

Few meters from him, I saw Jem waved her hand to say good-bye to Charles. The latter just nodded and smiled before he left the gym. ‘Si Charles pa talaga?’ Napailing-iling ako at amuse na nanuod sa magandang eksenang nasa harapan ko.
