I laughed loudly as we entered Jayden's house after having gone out lunch together. This time he had taken me somewhere else, which had been less posh. When I had raised an eyebrow, he had shrugged and told me that he wasn't a rich snobbish guy who only knew expensive places. The food had been amazing and I had made him promise to take me there again. Right now, he turned to look at me, a little confused and grinned. He had gotten used to me acting strangely with his mum around.

"No matter how much I enjoy seeing you making a fool of yourself around my mum, I think I should tell you that she's not in today." He said and looked me up and down in appreciation.

See, now, that's what I like in this guy! He always looks at me and is never embarrassed to say that I look beautiful more than once. And the way he says it doesn't take anything off his 'manliness' either. I grinned and wrapped an arm around his neck. "Who said I'm after your mum?"

He grinned right back, and after slightly pecking my lips, pulled away. "Not this time." He mumbled but couldn't resist kissing me once again.

I raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"She could come in any moment." He looked at the closed front door as if it may open any minute.

"I thought you said she wasn't in." I said, smiling at him.

"She didn't tell me when she'll be back." Jayden touched my cheek with the back of two fingers tenderly, which made my knees go weak. Seriously, this guy randomly showed me his tender side when I least expected it, and it totally threw me off balance.

"Where is she?" I asked calmly, trying not to show the effect he had on me.

"Jogging." One side of his lips tilted up, but his eyes were still on my lips.

I snorted. She was in her early fifties and looked pretty young, but who would've guessed she went out running on Saturday afternoons? "Whatever."

"I'm serious." Said with a lick of the lips.

I sighed. I bet he was. "So you're not gonna kiss me in case your mum walks in?" I took a step closer to him, my eyes on his.

His grin became very dangerous and his grey eyes turned a shade darker. "We're standing right in front of the main door. I can kiss you all you like once we go up to my room and lock the door behind us...then nobody can make me open it. Not even my mum's screams."

I grinned but started to feel a little uncomfortable. "Alright. Now you've gone and put me off it."

He chuckled and took me to the kitchen. Which I had discovered to be very big, with a counter bar in the center. The glossy bar was white. The floor was designed with black marble, which shone as if oil had been spilled on it. There was a big glass door that led to the garden. It was only one of the many doors that led outside the house. The Wilde house was a very big one.

"What would you like?" Jayden asked as he walked to the enormous black fridge which had two doors.

"Nothing," I replied.

"You always seem to be wanting something when my mum's around." Jayden pointed out as he stuck his head in the gigantic fridge.

"We both know that I only do it to annoy the hell outta her," I said and watched his rear appreciatively.

"Works, too." Jayden said and straightened with a beer bottle in his hand.

I raised an eyebrow and he continued.

"She's been going on and on about you to my dad. He couldn't care less. All he wants to do is add more zeros to his bank account." Jayden opened the bottle and took a long gulp.
