A/n: Forewarning y'all: this one shot will not have a happy ending! I've got a couple of questions: are my one shots painfully cliché or do you all enjoy them? Should there be a part two to this one shot where Simon gets a happy ending?

⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️

Love you all!!!

~(Y/n)'s POV~

"This is suicide!" I shout as I followed Markus, Simon, North, and Josh out of Jericho. I knew this feeling that was squeezing my metallic heart. "Is it really worth risking all your lives?"

The four androids stopped and faced me. Simon was the first to meet my gaze. "(Y/n), we have to do this."

"No... No, you don't, Simon. Please, stay here," I beg.

His LED flickered from yellow to red at my sorrowful tone before returning to a calming blue. "I... I can't, (Y/n)."

"We'll be back in a few hours. We promise, (Y/n)," North tries to reassure me.

Tears streamed down my cheeks as I glanced between the four of them. Simon closed the distance between us and took me into his arms. He trailed his hand through my (h/c) locks, allowing them to flow between his fingers gently.

"I was hoping to speak with you before we left," Markus spoke up. Simon and I glanced up, our eyes locking with the RK200's.

"What did you need?" I inquired.

"You used to work at the Stratford Tower. We'll need your help, (Y/n)."

"What? Markus, no!" Simon fusses. "It's too dangerous!"

"I have to agree with Simon, Markus. The smaller the party, the less casualties we'll have to worry about," Josh said, taking the PL600's side.

"It's up to her," Markus stated coolly.

All eyes then fell onto me once again. "I..." Determination bubbled within my chest. "I'll do it. If my knowledge helps, I'll do anything to help."

Simon placed his hands on my shoulders and squeezed them. "(Y/n), no!"

"I want to help, Simon. With me being a former employee, I can help you get access to any off-limit areas. My deviancy hasn't been discovered and my data is still in the system."

"That means we'll have access to all maintenance areas. Glad you were a CEO of the Stratford Tower, (Y/n). Never thought your former position would come in handy," North exclaimed.

"Me, neither. You can thank Mr. Stratford. He's the one who bought me for the position."

Josh smiled. "Never would've guessed one of our own would've been in such a high position."

"Well, it was horrible when I woke up," I mumble, placing a hand over one of Simon's that still rested on my shoulder.

"What caused you to wake up? You never told us," North said.

I glanced at Simon before directing my gaze back to North. The only person I had told was Simon since he was the one who found and brought me to Jericho only a month ago. "One of the security guards was drunk on the job. He grabbed me and forced himself onto me. I was able to knock him out before anything happened. After that, I left Stratford Tower. Then, Simon found me wandering the streets."

"And that's how you found Jericho," Josh added.

Simon removed his hands from my shoulders and took one of mine in his as I nodded. "Yeah."

"Wait, if you haven't been to the Stratford Tower in an entire month, how do they not know you've left?" Markus questioned.

"I hack into their system daily to register as if I haven't been missing. It's not like people in the tower care much about an android even if they are one of the CEOs."
