Dorm Life

When it came to where Darling would be permanently sleeping at the boys first apartment all the boys argued and tried to force the Maknae to give up his single bed for Darling.

"Dude she's a girl, she needs a bed!" Yelled Jimin at a frustrated and upset Jungkook.

"Guys, I can take the couch it's fine." Darling tried to reason, none of the boys listening to her.

"No! I got that bed fair and square!" Jungkook yelled back.

"Guys!" Darling tried to be louder, they didn't listen.

"Jungkook stop being selfish and give the bed to Darling, you can sleep with Taetae until we find another bed for you!" Namjoon tried to bargin, hoping he can convince the youngest to give up the bed.

"GUYS!-" All the boys were wide eyed and look at Darling in surprise.

"I can take the couch it's fine. I don't care... honestly." She tried to reason .

"Are you sure? We can figure out a bed for you." Jin said, putting his hand on Darling's shoulder.

"Yes Jinnie. You guys it's alright, I'll be fine." Darling sympathized, the boys felt guilty, but decided to go with it.

Darling spoke too soon. It's exactly 11:37 and 16 seconds, she counted, and she's still wide awake as ever. She gives up after tossing and turning for what seemed like an hour when it was only a minute and turns on the TV quickly lowering the volume. She got comfortable in a sitting position.

She starts to channel surf, having to decide on whether watching the news or super dramatic K-drama.

"K-dramas it is." She whispers to herself and goes back a few channels to a K-drama, she mindlessly watches, she puts in English captions since her Korean vocabulary wasn't at her best, but it was getting better, she was about 90% fluent, there were some words she doesn't know and is still rusty on her pronunciations, she has only been in Korea for practically 4 years, but she still struggles to get the language as accurate as possible, and also still struggling to understand Fluent speakers when she is brought into a conversation.

Some people try to talk to her in English, just to be sure their pronunciations or vocabulary were correct, which 99.99% of the time they were.

Everyone in the company knew she spoke Korean, but it was just nice to have something new from their familiar lifestyle. It's always nice to have something new or different in your everyday boring life.

She enjoyed being at Big Hit, it was difficult to convince PD-nim to let her stay at the company. He did let her stay as a producer, he always has had a soft spot for Darling, she started off young, but had the maturity of an older adult. He admired and liked how she would be professional when it came to music and in meetings, but once that was out of the picture he enjoyed the quirkiness of her personality. It was something new, something fresh to the company and it's employees.

He also likes how whenever she would talk in English her "Spanglish" would come out. Instead of saying "but" she would say "pero" and everyone at the office throught it was the most cutest thing to hear out of a 15 year old trainees mouth who spoke 3 languages, but was practically fluent.

"Noona?" A voice whispered, interrupting Darling's thought. She turned to see a sleepy Jungkook, he was rubbing one of his eyes and headed towards the couch.

"Why are you awake?" He asked and slumped down next to Darling, he places his head on Darling's lap and she softly runs her fingers through his hair.
