[This is when Darling was a Trainee, so it's very much in the past]
When Darling gets her rare off days as a Trainee she was advised to go to school, high school.
She's been a trainee for only about a year now and she's only gone to school two and a half times.
She tried to keep up with the school work, but balancing dance practice, vocal practice, learning new Korean words and learning Seoul dialect, plus keeping school grades was hard for Darling.
She always struggled academically, even back in the West. Academics were not her strong suit, and Bang-PD knew that, he still wanted her to graduate so school be off her plate so she could focus on her career.
She went to her locker and opened it as she grabbed the textbooks she needed for the school day. Students whispered as they walked past her, she sighed lowly as she slammed the locker, causing the students to scurry away. She held the heavy textbooks on her right arm as she walked to what she believed was her first class.
She walked in and bowed to the teacher as she took a seat somewhere in the middle of the class, the teacher nodded her head to Darling as she continued to look at paperwork.

Darling left her class as she went to her locker.
"Where have you been K-pop idol?" A random student asked sneerly. Darling ignored then as she swapped out one text book for another.
"Don't you mean failed K-Pop idol?" Another joked as they both laughed and walked away.
"I'm still a trainee dumbass." Darling whispered under her breath in English as she closed her locker and went to her next class of the day.

Darling left the building of the school, leaving early for vocal lessons. Some students hung outside the building as they talked, they noticed Darling walk by and giggled as Darling stopped and look at them angrily.
"Ya know, you don't know what I'm going through. The amount of work and effort to being a trainee is something you'll never know!" Darling said angrily, the students looked at her wide eyed, then started to laugh as Darling looked at them in confusion.
"What did you even say?" One student said as the rest just laughed. Darling rolled her eyes as she left the students laughing.

Darling entered Big Hit as she looked down sadly.
"What's up with you kid?" Her vocal lessons instructor asked seeing the young girl's face filled with sadness.
"Kids just being mean in highschool. Typical." She said lowly as she sat down taking off her uniform jacket.
"You're generation is truly just awful, is it not?" He jokes, Darling nodded as she situated herself, she got up to get a water bottle as she opened it.
"Well, luckily you'll only be there for only a few more times, then your done." The instructor smiled as he rummages through his bag.
Darling's bottle left her lips as she looked to her instructor. She placed the bottle on the table as she watched the man rummage for his own person bottle of liquid.
"It's a smoothie calm down." He said as Darling smiled softly.
"Warmups let's go." He ordered as Darling nodded and started her vocal lessons.

Darling closed her locker, months after not being back in school she returned one last time to try to finish as much of her studies as possible. She's hit the year and a half mark of her trainee years and is starting to prepare for her debut the next day.
Students saw Darling with wide eyes as they watched the upcoming K-pop idol to debut, new spreading quickly as the female tried to give her game some momentum, and students wanted to interact with her.
The same students who told Darling she was a failed K-Pop idol came up to her slowly, Darling tuned to them and looked them up and down in amusement.
"Hi Darling." They said softly as Darling closed her locker softly.
"We just wanted to say hello."
"And to apologise!"
"I don't want your apology." Darling sneered at them.
"We deserve that..."
Darling left the students as she went to their next class. Hoping the day will end quickly.

Darling stood as they were calling out names for their diploma. Darling was surprised she was able to graduate even though she was only there for a short period of time.
"Chai Darling." The principal announced as Darling made her way to the front as she grabbed her diploma and shook the staff's hands as she made her way back to her spot.
After the end of the ceremony she decided to leave, not really making friends when she was at school. She had her driver drive back to Big Hit so she could finish recording her album.

"How'd it go?" Bang-PD asked as he entered the Lair, knocking before hand.
"It went alright, glad I never have to see any of them ever again." She said as she clicked away on her computer, showing Bang-PD the diploma.
"You had to enjoy it somewhat didn't you?" He asked as he held the diploma.
"I was actually was only there for a month of work, plus the online classes I took because we couldn't find time for me to actually be there" Darling said annoyed as she continued to click on her computer mouse.
"Well, atleast you can have more focus on your comeback." He finished as he left, Darling smiled as started to mix new songs on her computer.
