The day I failed Art

Finally the bell rang signaling last class of the day, art! Art was one of my favorite classes apart from F/S, but I was really excited for the day to end. I strolled into art class humming a joyous tune, suprisingly, because I felt like nothing could bring me down. Boy was I wrong...

For most of my classes I had been avoiding Gene because we had so many classes together, but I was stupid to think I could avoid him all day.

I strolled into the art room and took a joyful seat next to Aphmau, who, was fiddling with her hair cautiously and blushing softly.

"Ummm?"

"Oh! Y/N!"

"Are you like, really happy or something?"
"Actually I'm kind of mad right now....I lost my phone and I don't know what I'm gonna tell my mother."

"Oh...Then, why are you blushing?" "Oh haha, I get flushed super easily as a reaction."

"Oh..."

"Hello class, today will be a free drawing day, whatever you want to draw, you may."

By then the class had already begun, and about 10 minutes in....

"Well hello there Gene, nice of you to join my class. Take a seat."

Oh no! The only seat was.... The table right next to mine. I just knew this would be trouble, but ignored my internally screaming conscience and went back to my drawing. I was drawing my Favorite character from F/A (Favorite Anime, if not your Favorite Cartoon.)

"Haha hey kitty~"

"Grrr..Gene!"

"Ah, ah, ah Kitty." Gene scolded, "Dont growl at me, Kitty~!" Gene Cooed back at Aphmau.

"Ugh!"

"Haha is That supposed an Anime/Cartoon Character?"

"What do you mean is it supposed to be? It is a(n) Cartoon/Anime character!"

"You wish!" Gene laughed loudly.

"Gene, Y/N, stop interrupting my class!"

I glared at Gene and he smirked. What a useless idiot...

After art, the teacher pulled Gene and I aside and said that we needed to stop talking so loud in class. I just apologized and Gene grunted trying to hold in laughter. The teacher lectured me especially, saying how this was not the way a Ro'Meave was supposed to behave. Gene got a simple 'look' from the teacher and a murmur about "Not being suprised."

I groaned, I would say its sexist, but its not. If anything, its just putting me in the Ro'Meave stereotype. Although Zane is brooding and rude, he's super quiet so he doesn't get in trouble during class, and believe it or not he gets A's.

Garroth is out going and popular so he has his moments here and there, but academically he performs well and does a lot of extra curriculars.

In all honesty I can uderstand why teachers crack down on us Ro'Meaves, our mother owns a fashion buisness, and our father owns a huge company, to some it up, lets just say I dont need a loan or scholarship to go to college/university. I also live in a two story house with plenty of room. I'm an upper class citizen. So I guess teachers probably just assume that I dont care about school because I can buy my way into college/university. Which is not true! I care just like everyone else...

Garroth's reputation was ruining my existence at this point and I was despising every second of it.
