"Edwin I'm tired of this! We've been messing around for months now. I completely understand if you're not ready for a relationship. Just fucking tell me." You stare at Edwin across the kitchen island.

"Y/N I just don't want to hurt you. You've been hurt by so many other guys and I don't want to be the next. I want to be the first guy to not hurt you and the last guy you date." He tears up. "Will you just wait on me?"

You in his eyes. You start to see 3 years of memories with him. You knew you would wait on him either way. He was your perfect guy. Your prince charming. Since the time you met him at the recording studio, you two have been inseparable. About a year ago, you finally confessed your feelings for him. You accepted the fact that this could've ruined your friendship with him. He responded with his feelings towards you. Initially, you were shocked but finally accepted it. Then, you guys started messing around. You were basically in that awkward talking stage. But today, you were fed up with being this way. Today, you decided you wanted to become more than just what you were. You wanted to call him cute nicknames more often and do romantic couple things together. You debate on what Edwin said.

"Yes Edwin, I'll wait. Only because I'm pretty sure you're the one for me." You see relief flash over his face.

"I promise it won't be much longer. I just have to finish getting my life together." He smiles.

"It's ok Ed. I'll be here every step of the way. Ready to help and support you."

"Gah you're the best. I can't wait to wife you up." He walks over to you.

"Waiting doesn't mean we can't fuck right?" You smirk.

"Never said anything about that did I?" He smacks your ass. "But I have to get to the studio. Bye."

He laughs as your jaw drops.

"Uh, rude. But bye." You say as he shuts the door.
